Steve's Dance Is Interrupted
The first extra scene acts as a new ending to Endgame, and merges directly with the pre-existing finale that fans already know and love: Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter reunited, sharing a dance, and settling down to a quiet life together.

Except the couple's quiet moment together is now interrupted by a knock at their door. Cautiously, Peggy opens it to reveal Loki, who greets the couple, as Steve looks surprised.

A few things here are immediately obvious — this is the version of Loki who has joined the TVA (the Time Variance Authority, essentially Marvel's multiverse police) but before he ends up becoming the all-powerful replacement of Kang. All of this fits with long-held leaked information that suggests Loki moves Steve and Peggy (and their son) to another branch of the multiverse for their own protection, several years before the main events of Doomsday take place.

Hulk Is Collected
During Endgame Encore's credits, the first all-new scene features Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner (and briefly, off-screen, the Hulk). This appears to be our first confirmation that the character will indeed appear in Avengers: Doomsday, after last being seen in bad shape at the end of Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

Indeed, this scene picks up a little while after Hulk is taken away, seemingly out of action following a destructive stint as his green alter ego. Now secluded in an old military bunker two miles underground, Banner records a video where he begins to discuss his work creating a new stabilizing serum. And, of course, he states that no one can get into the bunker to disturb.

Unfortunately, his video (and his work on that serum) are interrupted by the arrival of Doctor Doom into the bunker to disturb him. While kept offscreen, we hear Robert Downey Jr'.s voice say that he's come to "collect" Banner, as the scientist seemingly morphs into the Hulk once more. Has Doom enslaved Hulk, or sought to absorb his power somehow? We'll have to wait and see.

The TVA Realizes the Multiverse Is Collapsing

The next all-new scene is set within the TVA, presumably in the time after Loki has ascended to godhood. His former colleagues Mobius (Owen Wilson), Casey (Eugene Cordero) and Ouroboros (Ke Huy Quan) all panic as they spot a pair of Earths from different universes about to collide, and which begin to attack each other. One of these Earths is Universe-1005, the Fox X-Men universe, which ties into long-held leaks that the mutant team has been surviving incursions by wiping out other universes first. (I sure hope they don't have to destroy a universe with any other beloved Marvel character in it!)
Things quickly get worse, however, as the TVA team quickly realizes that the entire multiverse is collapsing, with thousands of universes now at risk of being annihilated through incursions.

While some involvement of the TVA in Doomsday seemed likely, none of these characters have previously been confirmed to return for the film. Indeed, none have been seen since the finale of Loki, which wrapped up in 2023. Tara Strong's animated Miss Minutes also features here, too.

Doctor Doom Makes an Iron Man Reference
At the end of Endgame Encore's credits, one final snippet sees Doctor Doom hammering his metal mask into shape. This is a clear and obvious nod to Iron Man (also played by Robert Downey Jr.!) who created his first mask in the same way, and a reference to the original ending of Endgame, which featured the same hammer sounds heard here (which come from the first 2008 Iron Man film).
