The collective head explosion from nerds around the globe would be a thing of legend if this came to be. Thank god it didn't.

Should not be touched by anyone, IMO. Leave it alone. If something must be done, make it a multi season show.

The Mandalorian will hopefully make people realize that Star Wars stories are best told in long form media.

What amazes me is Disney’s approach of ignoring Star Wars quality expanded universe stuff but when their own stuff doesn’t do well they come back and poorly cannibalize that same EU stuff they tried to get rid of.

Not Disney. Kennedy.

But objectively I get it. I’ve read ever EU book all the way through the final battle between Jacen and Jania. And why hem yourself in storytelling wise? It’s not like you can bring back the original cast to be in those stories. You can definitely take inspiration which is where I thought they were going with Ben and Rey. Isn’t that a much better story to find out they are actually brother and sister and it becomes Reys quest to redeem her brother?

Jania Solo was everything you wanted out of a Star Wars character. Skill in the force of a Skywalker but very much Han Solos daughter.

I would like it touched in the form of an hd remake for the next generation of consoles a la FFVII. Then, those two games would be released a hear apart around the same time as the start of a Knights of the Old Republic Series following the story of the games. I’m thinking 10 episode seasons at least. Season III would pick up where the games left off with Revan’s apprentice searching for Revan beyond the Outer Rim. One of the planets they visit could be the Sith planet from Episode 9. Releasing the same week as the final episode of the season (or at the start if it’s released all at once binge style) would be the long-promised sequel 3rd game to the KOTOR trilogy.

Damn straight! Doomentite member here, and while DVD claims it's just ' rumor ', it certainly does make sense.

But we'll see.
