Gorr was pretty much botched and he really didn't do much God killing he did a ton off screen and we got some good fight scenes.

Did you just use “he did a ton off screen” to make an argument that a movie…that is shown on screen…is better than people are giving it credit for?

I guess that makes me the best director of all time because I just created a movie in the last ten minutes where everything was done “off screen”.

Holy shite…

Eternals was decent on its own merits, but made no sense in the scope of the MCU.

Thor Love & Thunder was an abomination, and I really haven’t paid attention to the MCU since I watched it. Completely wasted an incredibly cool villain with a ton of potential.

Wow. Even though it's listed in the OP, I totally forgot about this movie. Pure garbage.

Guy 1: Gorr is the God Butcher

Guy 2: How many gods do we see him butcher?

Guy 1: Like, one.

Guy 2: Oh.

Hey you know the old Movie Making mantra, "tell, don't show"

Wait. . .that doesn't sound right. . .

He kills the initial god
Then you have the Guardian open up a bunch of distress calls from various gods screaming about Gorr the Godburcher, and you see dead
gods, hanging gots, and then Thor sees the one he knows and Sif’s distress call.

Is the complaint that the movie doesn’t fairly establish him as a threat or you just need more fight scenes?

i would have liked more Gorr, but I also think without having extra scenes it’s they do a good job showing the aftermath of his killing spree and get to a confrontation with the actual God we know within the first 35 minutes of the movie.

Thor Ragnarok was funny, but Thor wasn't an idiot. Love and Thunder made him a complete moron, while elevating the ladies. I left the theater annoyed that I wasted the cash.

The aftermath?

Hey that thing is dead

What killed it?

Gorr, maybe?

Was it tough to kill?

Whole bunch of tell, don't show.

Just dogshit moviemaking

Thor: Love and Thunder was a gigantic piece of shite.

All of Marvel’s strategic vision is now a South Park skit. It was satire, Marvel, not a How-To.

Meh, after about 15 minutes in I thought Thor LT was sucking until I read and realized it was intended as more funny and light hearted than the prior more serious MCU movies, I ended up liking it.

It was an action comedy with minimal action and 3 jokes that it beats to death

Never thought I'd see someone unironically argue that Thor Love and Thunder was a good movie.

Not only is it terrible it also wasted both a great actor and a great storyline. Gor the God Butcher could have easily been a two or three movie epic.

They rushed it and made it stupid

76% audience score Rotten tomatoes

It’s a whipping boy movie for a lot of grumpy conservatives
