Rogue One is underrated.

Solo is criminally underrated IMO. IMO that movie would've been huge if it hadn't followed TLJ. It took a little while to get going, but the last 2/3 of that movie is nothing but fun.

And it's easy to look back on TFA and hate on it because it's the cool thing to do, but that movie was pretty awesome and had a great Star Wars feel to it. Unfortunately it has fallen into the realm of "the sequels have sucked" thing because of Rian Johnson. But at the time it was excellent and most people thought so, regardless of how much the story compared to the original SW.

Best: Season 1 of The Mandalorian. This is what i was hoping for with the creation of more content in different formats. The cartoon Clone Wars were pretty good too.

Worst: The Last Jedi. Stuff that came after is most certainly worse, but this is where i quit watching.

Most everything was bad. Like really bad: Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Last Jedi, Acolyte, Boba Fett, Resistance, Rise of Palpatine, Star Wars in theme parks

A few, far too few, were somewhat entertaining: Madalorian prior to Carano exit, Rogue One prior to the realization everyone will die, Solo, Andor

And turned some obvious home runs into bunts down the 1st base line:
Obi-wan Kenobi (yet featured a different lead)
The Force Awakens (same story line as The New Hope)
Star Wars in theme parks (completely abandoned the OT)

TFA is when I quit. Never saw anything else Disney ever made.

It's derivative, and doesn't tell a new or interesting story. It doesn't even try to tell some of the stuff that Zahn set up, which were great stories.

It's an objectively bad movie.

TFA was more a signal to fans they were returning to more "Star Warsy" material, which was needed.

TLJ is where it went off the rails.

I enjoyed it, I thought it was a decent start for a new trilogy. My main criticism was again using a death star in the final act. And I was super pumped for TLJ...

Really great day for the world and me personally. Any Star Wars is better than no Star Wars contrary to the highly refined and completely culture war driven opinion of the majority of people on this board.

Best:

Rogue One
Andor
The Mandalorian, especially seeing Master Luke Sykwalker wreck those robots.
The Clone Wars & Rebels
Ahsoka (merely b/c it's the direction the new trilogy should have went centered around characters from Rebels).

Worst:
Every live action show or movie not mentioned above.
I will never forget the feeling I had as The Last Jedi ended and I walked out the theater with my 6 year old son and he asked me if I liked the movie. I tried to be nice at first since he was 6 and as we walked out i was nice about what i didn't care for and by the time we got to the car I started going off on much i hated it, and i got increasily more pissed off during our ride home the more i had time to process what i just watched and say it out loud. He was 6 and he still remembers how mad i was after that.

They gave so much material to content creators to bitch about to last lifetimes. SEK is helping those folks buy timeshares in Tahiti.

I tend to agree with you. Ron Howard literally saved that movie. First off, no one really wanted a Solo back story especially if Harrison Ford is not playing the character. But if you go into it accepting that's not Harrison Ford, the movie is actually entertaining.
