Revisionist history with Leia the hero of the entire OT. Disney will never stop fricking up the Star Wars franchise.

WTF. So the woman who was trapped and about to be executed was actually skrong woman all along.
The buffoons who snuck into the death star and made it all the way to her cell were mindless care free idiots...yeah got it.
Also love how her "bad arse moment is to take Luke's gun and hop directly into an open line of sight" where in real life she would have been mowed down in 2 seconds while unarming Luke in the process.
Dont get it wrong Leia is sexy and a bad arse but these types of revisions only diminish her character.

Just off the top of my head, after being tortured and interrogated:
She smarted off to Luke about being short. Coulda been a rapist stormtrooper, y'know.
She took lead on getting out the detention area.
Blasted some troopers while Luke got the rope ready.
Called the whole escape as fishy.
Stayed on Yavin instead of evacuating.
Bitch was a stone cold killer rebel spy/leader compared to Luke's fresh off the farm.

Which is why my gripe is how they treated portrayed Luke in the short. She was a strong character for sure, Luke, even being fresh off the farm, wasn’t some bumbling idiot.
