Great actress. To this day the most fricked up movie I’ve ever seen is Looking For Mr.Goodbar. I had to do a double take that she was the lead in that movie

Legendary actress. My favorite role for her was GFII and it was she was so dadgum hateable which is a credit to her as an actress.

RIP legend.

She was just about 80. While lifespans are increasing, not that accurate.

ETA: I’ve seen a few “way too young “ posts.

I don’t want anybody to die ever but 79 isn’t that young.

Interesting fact from the article. Her real name was Diane Hall, but there was already an actress named Diane Hall.

That means both Keatons used a stage name due to their real name already being taken.

Didn’t Michael choose Keaton specifically because of Diane? But never changed his name legally from Douglas?

Correct.

But his real name wasn't an option for the same reason hers wasn't.

I met her years ago at an event in DC. She was nice but her little friend Carol Kane was a total kunt..
