Saw it yesterday. Good stuff. Ryan Reynolds always delivers his best Ryan Reynolds character. Jackman was great and much more comic accurate with his temper. The two characters are perfect opposites.
As to questions about the plot... the plot is "Pussy wins, every time." He did it all for the nookie.

Not the best Deadpool movie, but still pretty fun.
Epic one liners. Classic Deadpool stuff.
And yet...
2 things which really didn't land with me much at all.
Vanessa. That's not the same character as DP and DP2. It just isn't. I know it's Morena, but that's not Vanessa. She would never sideline Wade over stuff like "he needs to FIND himself". To quote Deadpool - That's just lazy writing.
Wolverine's back story. So, he went out on a bender (which should be normal for him ) and comes back to find... somehow Humans have killed ALL THE XMen?? Like, no way in hell does that happen. And then he blames himself? Maybe if they dropped a MOAB or 2 on the Xavier School then sent in a full-on army, leaving a crater the size of a small town are they getting rid of all those in the building. Someone, at the very least, would have teleported or gotten out of there.
Nice cameos, Ryan & company really did reach and made contact with so many callbacks. I'm sure I missed a few, in the background. Props on that though. Very well done.

I really liked how the whole film was treated as a homage to the Fox era movies with all the cameos, which is highlighted by the B roll shots over the past 25 years being thrown in the credits.
Closing out with the 20th century Fox logo, which is probably the last time it will ever be on the big screen in a new release.

Yeah it would have been better if he himself had somehow killed them all. I thought that was strange too. But I was having too much fun to care

Felt like they were setting up for the reveal he killed them or was directly responsible for their death in some way- maybe controlled by someone or something to keep him off the hook, but didn’t really pay that off, figured we’d get a flashback on something crazy

Am I stating the obvious that some of DP's steps during the N'Sync scene were actual stage moves from their show? I mean, why not?
