Thanks. The cursing and violence don’t bother me. I just don’t want to sit there all awkward next to my teen while Deadpool takes a strap on to the arse on International Women’s Day.

It made $24 mil on Monday and $25 mil on Tuesday. The legs on this movie might be long. I could see it cross a billion easy.

So, you're telling me that the dancer / prostitute who fell madly in love with a former Special Forces turned Merc and soldier of fortune, who went through HELL to have a chance of coming back to her to spend a life together didn't make anything of himself, so she just up and left him???
That is literally the opposite pf what happened.

Absolutely.
I still can’t believe Blade was in this, awesome.

quote:This is the cleanest compared to the other two by far. No nudity and the innuendos are fewer and said so fast that they will go over most teens head. Having said that, this one is the funniest Deadpool film. I took my 13 year old to it after reading the IMDb Parents guide. He loved the fight scenes so much.
I haven't read through the thread because I don't want the movie spoiled for me. But, just a quick question: Would you take your 16 year old to see this movie? If it’s like the first one, with gratuitous sex involved, then I wouldn't. But if it’s more like the 2nd where there was some inuendo, but nothing in your face, I would. If that makes sense. I'm not too concerned about the violence.

Excellent. Thanks.

Honestly don't remember the jokes about "the gays," but I was shocked they said retarded in a scene or two.

So apparently Brie Larson is very pi$$ed at Ryan Reynolds.
She was supposed to have a cameo of some sort in the movie but it was cut out. So she thought that it would be in the directors cut that will come out later.
Well, apparently Ryan Reynolds told Disney not to even include her cameo in the directors cut. To scrap her completely.
LMFAOOOOOOOO

Optimistic me says Disney will learn that no one likes her and either leaves her character out of the MCU moving forward or recasts the role.
Pessimistic me says Disney will make Ryan issue an apology and they promise Brie a whole bunch of nonsense while shelving Deadpool for awhile.
Realistic me says this is probably nothing and Disney doesn’t really care about anyone’s feelings since they are raking in money from this movie.

I thought it was fun and good, but it didn't make me want to go see any new Marvel movies.

Solid Deadpool movie and more fan-servicing than a Hampton Bay repair department. House of M Wolverine, Cavallrine, Matthew McConaughey and Nathan Fillion secret parts, fight scenes galore, X3's Juggernaut getting killed... it was a magical evening (except for the Parental Assbags of the Year in the back who brought their ADHD 5yr old then proceeded to sugar him up just before the movie).
This movie won't win any Oscars, but it was a helluva lot of fun from a fan of the old comics.

Hugh Jackman deserves a nomination at the least. Some of his dialog scenes absolutely oozed with emotion. He absolutely killed the role.

What role did Nathan Fillion play?

You people are delusional. So because a label did not exist the concept did not either? Are you intentionally being dumb? Are you serious? lol
