The newer generations, relatively speaking, have been staying home anyway. COVID caused them to triple down on that. The short theatrical windows are now more about meeting that need than creating it.

Disney usually negotiates to get 75-80% of the box office for the first two weeks, 60% the next two weeks, and 50% the rest of its run.

There are two rumors floating around.

1. She appears in this film as a character named Dazzler a mutant in the comics that has the ability to turn sound vibrations into light beams and she's a singer. A very deep cut but it could work.

2. Marvel is developing a show for her called the Blonde Phantom for Disney +. I had to look this character up. Early character from the late 40's. She has no powers but is skilled in hand to hand combat. She Hulks step mom. From what I read, no one even huge Marvel fans want this.

While I believe the MCU needs to evolve a bit and give us stories from unknown characters, this aint it.

That would make the strategy of buying up millions of presale tickets to build hype and generate headlines an even smarter idea. This is pretty much their only movie they have coming out this year that people will actually want to see, may as well go all out generating buzz for it.

I love it. Not at all how science works, even a little bit, but at least Photon can now 'see' the music?

The stories and rumors are so chaotic. Well after Deadpool X Wolverine was made, we're getting stories that TS 'just' met with Fiege. OK, so how could she secretly make a cameo in that movie but then also JUST now meet with KF?

She's freaking on tour and doing the album thingy. No way can she devote enough time away to do a movie (unless it's a scene at most) or a freaking series.

This is so stupid. Marvel Fans won't fall for this. The few who are still on board. Swifties will flock to the movie or sign up, but it'll only be a spike, and then it'll be over. What a trainwreck.
