Good thing for Bautista is that I don't think The Kurgan NEEDS to be a massive hulking warrior, like Drax. He can get away with a lesser build up, imo, but we'll see.

Im curious to see if he can bring the bat shite crazy to the role like Clancy Brown did. As a previous poster said, Brown was theater trained I believe

He’s lost enough muscle mass to make another Hugh Jackman. 
The caveat is IF he did used ozempic. I don’t know. Seems like he trimmed down awfully fast, especially when he seemed a bit pudgy in Guardians 3.

Bautista is definitely getting back on HGH. He’s going to be in Road House 2 as well. I’m ok with the casting.

I wouldn’t want to try to fill Clancy Brown’s shoes in that role, he nailed it, and when you think the Kragen that’s your image.
I was going to recommend Rory McCann aka the Hound from GOT, but it appears he’s cast as Baylan Skoll in Ahsoka Season 2, replacing Ray Stevenson.

Yeah, I don't get it. Bautista has never hit me as dangerous, which Brown came off as in spades. People have cited Dune, but Bautista was a dullard to me in Dune. Completely uninteresting. He's big and has a bunch of tattoos. That's about it. They're going to have to work to make him even close to the kind of character he was in the original.
