Data provided to Business Insider by consumer-insights company Crimson Hexagon shows that social-media buzz for all four shows has dropped dramatically over time.
Since Netflix doesn't release viewership numbers, social-media data is one of the best alternatives to finding out whether these shows have legs to stand on.

Social media impressions are a horrible way to evaluate viewership.
If my twitter feed were monitored, these people would assume I really enjoy watching Alabama whip the shite out of LSU, because that's the only thing I tweet about that comes on tv.
But they would be wrong. I, in fact, do not enjoy that.

That doesn't say anything about Netflix relying on that data to determine whether or not to cancel a show. It's just a 3rd party trying to draw a correlation between social media buzz and viewership to explain why a show got cancelled, because only Netflix has the actual viewership numbers

There better be a season 4.

WTF is that shite? How about they track and release the actual viewership numbers?

If we relied on social media, every network would run reality TV and the Kardashians every night in prime time all the time.

Netflix has no reason to release them. The fact that only they have access to them is one of the reasons why they've been so successful.

The season started slowly but really picked up around E4.
One of the things I love about this series (and the rest of the Marvel Netflix shows) is the motivations are usually well thought out so that they make sense to the viewer. Even if the viewer thinks the character is crazy, their story is told in such a way for the viewer to understand how they went from A to B to C. The story of Bullseye/Dex is a prime example of this.
I've noticed many mentions about the final fight and confusion on it. Here's my take...
Due to the heavy security (which was then increased), Matt needed a distraction as well as a way in. He primed Dex into a red and black clad ball of destruction and set him loose. Dex unknowingly cleared the path for Matt up to the ballroom, but Matt's destination was Fisk's hidden room.
The fight itself... Matt wasn't after Vanessa but Dex wanted to kill her. Matt's personal code wasn't going to let that happen. But what about Fisk? I think part of the fighting was to beat Dex down so he wouldn't also go after Vanessa but also HE wanted to be the one to kill Fisk (or at least he wanted the option). He probably also knew that if Dex killed Fisk then he and Vanessa would be next.

I think they use social media to determine whether people actually like it or if they're just watching out of habit or because its Marvel. With declining interest it may not be worth it to produce more seasons. I'm guessing Marvel was picking up some of the production costs and now that they're gone Netflix would have to finance everything themselves.

Just finished, loved it.

I don’t get the point of Murdock unleashing Poindexter on Kingpin, while wanting Kingpin dead, only to stop Poindexter from killing Kingpin.
Because Dex knew all the security protocols. But Matt was probably also banking that Dex wouldn’t kill any of his fellow agents while essentially clearing the path for Matt.

Here's a report from a company that also uses torrent downloads and other factors to come up with a viewership metric they call "Demand Expressions". Daredevil looks like it's got relatively strong demand. Hopefully we will see a season 4.

I finished it yesterday. Like it. Didn't love it. I liked the first season the best
My opinion may not be the best on this since I really am not a big fan of the super hero shows but overall, this one is pretty good

I'm disappointed that Castlevania isn't higher up on that chart.

Yeah, first season is the best.

I just finished season 2 and haven’t started S3. Is there a “superhero” that gets his arse kicked more than Daredevil?
Maybe it’s bc I’ve binged watched 2 seasons, but seems like the dude gets the shite beat out of him every other episode.
This chick kicks his arse, an old blind dude, ninjas, super ninja zombie, punisher, king pin, etc. He is constantly getting beat down. I really think his power is to rapidly heal bc it apparently doesn’t effect him 8 hours later.

Loved it. The best netflix MCU season IMO. Episode 6 was straight fire! That’s the one where Dex dresses as Daredevil and kills the people in the Newsroom. Also, the prison scene in Ep 4 was legit. I had to go back and re watch it.
