Daredevil season 2 was a mixed bag with uneven storytelling that overall felt a little too crowded. It would have been better if the Punisher story had been wrapped up earlier or left him in prison. It lacked the focus of season 1. I still loved it, but its 7.5/10 for me.

Also, how does the season start with a clear reference to his mother and yet never touches on it through 13 episodes?

Are you really bitching about super powers in a show about super powers, produced by a company that wrote/designed comics about superheros? Is Tony Stark making all of that crap disrespectful to engineers? Is the Hulk disrespectful to anger management groups? Is Hawkeye disrespectful to other forgotten characters?

Given the success of the Netflix shows and how awesome the Matt Fraction run was, I'm upset with how Hawkeye has been used in the MCU and that he was given a hidden family. And also that they've basically replaced him with Lance Hunter in his relationship with Bobbi. We won't get to see that story played out on the small screen in a way that would have fit perfectly with the Netflix shows.

Every scene that took place on the rooftop in episode three is just amazing writing and top notch television.
The debate between Castle and Murdock on being a hero or vigilante is tremendously written, Frank's interaction with the Nam vet is great glimpse of Frank beyond the rage, and to cap it off with a fight scene like that?
Amazing.

One thing people have to remember is that Daredevil, Luke Cage, & JJ are considered street level heroes. You probably not going to see them take on villains from other galaxies. So I don't mind seeing Murdock take a beating from Nobu.
In addition, I agree that they have set up season 3 really nicely. We never found out why the ninja have a huge surgical scar over his entire torso. Matt and Stick seem to be minding the fence. This leads me to believe that Matt will be getting some additional training. Matt still thinks Stick is the Chaste leader, so he is still in the dark. I believe Madame Gao has a lot more going on in her organizations. It also seems like Fisk might think there is more to the Matt Murdock than he first thought. There are a ton of layers to the Hell's Kitchen story.

Also, I know it's just a tv show and that Matt has extraordinary abilities. But he is blind and so is the stick guy. They can't drive cars or do half the stuff they do. It's kind of insulting to blind people and beyond crazy to watch. /rant..
I'm not sure about Stick becuase we know we little about him, but the reason Matt has pretty much super human abilities is due to the chemicals that splashed his face and made him blind in the first place. So he's not a regular blind person to begin with instead he's a super powered being like Spider-Man and such.

the hole in the middle of the city, I guess is what The Defenders is going to be about...just plot points thrown everywhere in order to expand the Defenders story, which I get, but DD suffered a bit from it.

Interested what they'll do with Elecktra next season. Really enjoyed Season 2, only black spot was the Matt-Karen love angle. Just felt forced to me

Castle taking out an entire cell block, then some demonic shite going on with The Hand.

I wonder when we see season 3. Cage comes out in September. Iron Fist and JJ S2 next year too. Maybe the Defenders in '18?

That fight scene in the stairwell with the bikers was top notch. The long panning shots were well done, sort of the anti Bourne shaky cam
And the whole time I was thinking, Punisher was gonna take these guys out for you if you'd left him alone.

Agreed. If you know the comics you basically know where the story is going. Netflix and Marvel have to continually set up the street levelers, sort of like what they are doing with AOS. People seems to forget that characters like Thor and Daredevil are on completely different levels in the Marvel universe.

I love these Netflix marvel series...
But...
My question is why the hell is their secretary mouthing off to DA's and criminals? I like karen but it gets to me that the person that should answer phones and get coffee is breaking into housed and making deals.
