yeah, that guy I swear, I'm not racist, I'm biracial to be honest. But he reminds me of a lot of Black dudes that like Wesley Snipes says in his Blade movies "Some MFers just wanna skate the system ". Matt was trying help his lazy arse and he's insulting the man, cracking jokes about him to the other jail idiots. He insults him again after Matt just got his sentence reduced to just 10 days. I see nothing wrong with him physically, but he wants to sing these "Oh, poor ole me songs". Man, go and get a damn job, stop doing dope and go and get a job. But he won't do that because the system makes it too easy for them. That's what I mean when I said what I said earlier. Sorry, if I offended anyone.

I was almost ready to bail on the show til the final scene with Kingpin eating in front of Adam.

My brain the whole time Matt's client was playing the victim..

While that moment was quite badass, it does not make up for the absolute borefest this show has been. Each episode gets more and more disappointing. I’m 4 episodes in and still no Daredevil? Come on now.

The hero doesn’t want to be hero anymore trope is so freaking played out, but if you’re going to do that then you better find a way to make the story gripping and entertaining. They are failing big time with this. It’s just an unfocused mess of writing that good acting can’t overcome.

This has slowly eroded from a solid 7/10 to about a 4/10 rating for me. I’m invested enough to finish it out, but my disappointment is strong. What a shame

It’s clear they never fully axed the shitty first idea that tested horribly. The boring court room show. Episode was just bad until Frank and Kingpin at the end.

They didn’t try to hide that six episodes of season one were filmed before they decided to restart and align it with the Netflix series. They filmed three episodes and some random scenes to Frankenstein this season around the existing footage.

Real rough season so far. It’s as if they’re going for a big payoff at the end but you can make a good season without six episodes of build up for one episode. Cut the crap out like the 15 minutes of trash with the thief and do things that matter

So we’ve now gone two episodes of a show about a guy who is a martial arts master acrobat without a punch being thrown

How in the sweet fukc could anyone ever think that was a good idea?

They were already fired. The current writers only full episode so far was the series premiere. They also wrote the final two episodes of the season. They only added key scenes in the remaining episodes to fit their story.

Two episodes come out tomorrow for some reason.

I imagine shite hits the fan with two episodes tonight. Probably a lot of Muse and hopefully Daredevil back in the suit.

This season has been pretty shitty thus far.
Thanks a lot Disney. You’ve got 3 more episodes to do something worthwhile, b/c you sure as shite haven’t done a damn thing worthwhile yet despite having 3 great characters and actors to work with.
Finally see Daredevil in action and I really didn’t care at all.

Really siked to see a team up with Kamala marvel

Episode 5 was a complete throwaway that I don't even think the new writers could be fricked to try and save. But goddamn, Disney and Marvel have been trying to make Kamala Khan stick for a decade or more and it's just not working. They've put her with every established hero and franchise in an attempt to get her traction, and every one has failed. Now, she's an X Man -- I think.

So frick episode 5.

On to episode 6.

Lots of buildup leading to Fisk's crack and return to Kingpin status. I thought the party scene was more than a little forced. Fisk's net worth either equals or exceeds his donors that were trying to "Big Man" him, and to act like he is unknown to those socialites -- who I assume run businesses in New York -- is absurd. But I get it, and the scene didn't drag on too long.

Luka scene was dumb and went nowhere. Obviously, a mick in a track suit gets a private meeting with the Mayor of America's first city. And Jerry the sanitation worker? Found blood in a mural, let's hop on down to see the Mayor. This isn't fricking Mayberry. At least make him a Officer in the Union -- not some schmo running a hose.

Baby Ayala scene felt like a holdover from the previous writers. Obviously Disney wants her for Young Avengers with Kamala, Echo and Riri. Obligatory screen time.

Kingpin's Task Force. Dumb. Very dumb. You created Operation Rampage. How original.

Muse time. Why do we care? There better be a flashback to him visiting Matt's lady for some therapy sessions because up till now, we have seen frick all of him. The fight was meh, but we got to see the suit at least. Also, Muse's chief power as part of Daredevil's rogues gallery is the ability to suppress the senses of people around him -- even Daredevil. So, Muse turns Daredevil into just another blind man. Didn't see that in their fight -- which I think was a waster opportunity.

Kingpin and Adam: Ok, Kingpin is back. He has to order new suits. Will they be white? Probably. He beat the frick out of Adam, and then we get those iconic comic book shots of Kingpin 3/4 and then full. D'Nofrio has the ability to just manipulate his face (not on the level of Jim Carey) and that last shot where he relaxed his cheeks and let his jowls be a bit more prominent made that shot a comic book cover.

So...all in all. It's more of the same. We have a slow burn setup with a disjointed story, a little bit of action and a few scenes and shots that make you go "Wow" and ensure you'll come back next week.

Supposedly these last 3 episodes were written solely by the new writing team, and I hope that is the case. It's been really jarring to see what feels like the tumblr team's scenes versus the edgy team's scenes in the same episode.

BUT GODDAMN! GIVE ME WHITE SUIT, BLACK SHIRT, PURPLE ASCOT FISK THIS SEASON!

I won't lie, episode 5 was a massive let down because I don't think a single thing will come from it in the last few episodes. I've never been able to pinpoint an episode with rewrites as fast as this one.

The silent fight scene was great but the Kamala references were so forced. It was quite noticeable how forced it was. It wasn't natural like say Matt Murdock helping Peter in No Way Home.

We left off in a good spot in episode 4 to really kick this into high gear but nope we had to wait until the last 15 mins of episode 6 for anything relevant. I bet they regret not heavily including Muse in earlier episodes. I mean a serial killer with 60 fricking kills isn't seen (outside of a scene or two) exclusively until more than midway through the season but we got an entire 20 mins of that black guy being a piece of shite and demanding Matt give him probation? Yeah, I would have liked to see more Muse instead of that. Now it will feel a little rushed in the final few episodes.

I liked episode 5 being a stand alone episode. I agree it felt forced with Kamala. Just awkwardly kept saying her name.

But it was fun to me. Wonder what this stone was and if it’ll be referenced again. Were they just stealing it instead of giving Fisk the 1.8 million. Is Vanessa the boss that’s being referenced or maybe Jack Dusquene.

The whole why is Muse being looked at now I think is answered by Fisk when he says things need to change when the sanitation department finds evidence before NYPD

I think we’re being a bit harsh on the series so far. Surprised no one lost their mind over the trans person being interviewed.

It's become pretty apparent this season has been frankensteined together. First episode was great and set the tone. Then we don't get him in the suit again until the end of episode 6? I'm glad this is only 9 episodes and not 13. Can you imagine how boring that would have been?

Fiege is a disaster. He got all the credit for building the MCU and he needs to get a lot of the blame for where we are now. There are 3 episodes left. So it can end on a high note, but this series was kind of the last hope for me. I'm just done with it all of this doesn't improve. I don't even care about FF or the X-Men at this point.
