I'm hearing they got rid of the hot secretary and replaced her with DEI. Can anybody confirm?

She's not a secretary, dammit; she is also an attorney; she was an assistant DA when Foggy was murdered. It's made quite clear in her opening convo with Foggy at the bar and in subsequent dialogue with Matt Murdock. It's why her name is now on the firm name (Murdock and McDuffie)

Some of y'all need to pay better attention...

Just finished the first two episodes.. holy shite that was awesome.. first 5 minutes was shocking needless to say.. I was so afraid of Disney fricking this up and so far so good .

Stairwell in the opening shot… ok.

This season is amazing. LMFAO at the end of episode 2.

Watched the 1st episode this morning. The cgi in the opening fight scene was terrible.

Maybe I wasn’t in the right mood or something, but I was kind of bored. Does it pick up in the 2nd episode?

I'm going to have to say that the first two episodes, while okay, are nowhere near as good as people think they are. They could have (and probably should have) been an entire season's worth of material all on their own - especially considering where we left things off with the third season. I know it's been five years but why the hell is Bullseye coming after Matt and company? Shouldn't his main beef be with Fisk? And speaking of Fisk...we get no explanation as to how he got out of prison and became popular enough to become mayor. I know this is a storyline from the comics but the original showrunners would have at least given us the decency to build up to that particular point.

I think it would have been smarter to have had Foggy die and Fisk become mayor in the season finale.

I agree with this. It's a good start so far, but there are some stupid writing moments that deteriorate the quality. Foggy gets shot outside a bar full of first responders and not 1 took the time to help him survive? Sacrificing logic for the sake of getting a cool sequence of shots is one of the most annoying things directors do in movies and series.

The two cops not identifying themselves was pretty dumb as well. I can allow this if they intentionally were trying to hide they were cops due to their dirty dealings, but so far that has not been established. There were other moments like these that I can't recall at this moment, but thankfully there weren't very many.

The opening CGI was really bad. I love seeing DD swinging through the city, but that was very poorly done.

Overall though this is a good show. No it does not reach the greatness of the Netflix series, but it's been solid so far. It's absolutely the best Disney Marvel series to be created, and it's the best thing they've done of anything Marvel since End Game (Spiderman was Sony influence, and Deadpool was done without the MCU having input; therefore, I am not counting them). I'm looking forward to seeing this one through, and I really hope they don't frick it up
