Maybe Chozen comes back to remind Daniel what Myagi karate is all about and they can find themselves again because this show basically goes against everything Myagi stood for.
Did you not pay attention to the flashback of Miyagi wanting Daniel to be his own person with his own karate style and not just follow Miyagi forever?
Miyagi preached balance. And the balance at the end became balancing offensive and defensive styles and then progressing to your own style completely.

Since will smith is producing I think the younger Larusso and Kenny is setting up the future and you can bring back jaden smith

Just finished. Damn, the Arc of Silver going from reformed sociopath back to sociopath was awesome. I didnt really see the KK3 Silver until he beat the snot out of Stingray and then it came full out when he had Kreese arrested.
Can you put some type of spoiler warning on this?
Glad I didn't see this til I finished. You pretty much gave away some huge surprises.

The Miguel and Robbie character flows to me are the most interesting parts going right now
Yeah those stories are really well set up.
Like someone else said Miguel seemed a little less invested and kind of distracted this season, which was fine. I also agree that he isn’t fully healed which allowed room for Hawk and Robby to take up the mantle as best fighters, which I think worked well.
As for Robby, what they did with him was really impressive. He’s been my least favorite character from the start, but having him try to take Kenny under his wing, and having it go so wrong, is a great way to show him how hard it is to get mentoring right, even when you have good intentions.
Hopefully that’s going to take away the bitterness he has toward Daniel and even Johnny to an extent.
That was really a smart angle to take with him.
The one thing I wasn’t a huge fan of is the Kreese redemption they seem to be trying to set up. We talked about this in the S3 thread, I just don’t think that character is really worthy of or even wants redemption. He believes he’s right and nothing will ever change that and I think it would be a mistake to try to sell us on that.
I’d have much rather seen he and Silver just battling for control vs Kreese seeing the error of his ways.

But silver’s weakness was kreese and silver knew he couldn’t beat him physically

Pleased but surprised they were able to get Paul Hauser (Stingray) back to reprise his role.
Hilarious as usual and now his character is obviously involved in a big plot twist.

Based on the young Kreese flashbacks he wasn’t bad though. I think they showed with him how much war can frick you.

Also: do we think Hawk is actually better than Robby? I don’t think so. I do think he’s the second best fighter among the teens though. Out of all the students, Hawk and Robby are the only two to get the most out of Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai, though I still think Robby would be better if he went more defensive and the opposite for Hawk.

The Kreese redemption setup is what I didn't see coming. That should play out well. Maybe in the end, they all just make up and go their separate ways, except for Silver. He's destined for jail or death now.
I was glad that Aisha came back, even if it was brief. That actress has had some problems lately.

Awesome set up for next season. Great season.

We just finished a little while ago. Season four is excellent. Definitely a step up from 3 and maybe even 2 as well. I knew when Terry made the comment about how the ref would never end on a formality (“trust me”) that he had paid him off. Interested to see where they take that angle now that Tory knows it happened. Also interested to see her and Sam moving forward since Sam was robbed with the bogus out of bounds call.
I still hate the kid scenes tremendously, but at least they improved this season.
I love that Miguel, a teenager in high school, packs up and rolls out to fricking Mexico City alone but tells his mom not to worry.
I hate Sam even more this season. She’s a real count. And that was a shady move of Mrs. Larusso to hit up Sam before the final match and get in her head.
Loved the Terry Silver arc and how he’s trying to take over in the end. As much as I don’t really want to see a Kreese redemption, I’m interested to see how that plays out.
Thought the entirety of the Stingray subplot was stupid and unnecessary.

Moon Dust is like instant TRT to the balls, man.
Also. Hats off to Demetri for taming that crazy blonde. Wonder if she popped his cherry in master BR of Stingray’s house.

I thought Dutch died (both in the show and in real life).
They established in S2 when the OG CK guys went on the motorcycle trip, that Dutch was in prison, IIRC.

I just think it’s bullshite that Sam and Tory didn’t fight without shirts in the final like Hawk and Robby. Equality.

Just finished it another great season.
William Zabka is the GOAT for this series.

Still think the “how to fix to Miguel’s legs” paper in season 3 is the funniest thing in the whole series.

Similar to when Johnny googled “How to tell your student you’re banging his mom”

Aren't these 2 things kind of tied together?
