I really like Miguel as a character and that scene with Johnny saying "I love you too, Robby" to him damn near destroyed my heart
but yeah, I care WAY more about Johnny v Kreese and Daniel v Silver and even Kreese v Silver than I ever will about the younger guys.
And if Barnes comes back I wonder if he still owes Silver a debt for costing him a shite load of money by losing to a far inferior fighter?

The older characters are definitely better but the younger ones break up the story and add to the older characters. The young ones are needed but wouldn’t be able to stand on their own.

Silver was giving Mike a shitload of money and 50% ownership. Probably dropped him faster than Kreese. The loss Probably hurt Mike's reputation too.
If mike has maintained his karate discipline over the years, Silver isn't going to want to be on his bad side. Daniel and Johnny couldnt have hung with him back in the day.
Especially in a street fight. I feel like Mike went into special forces, he seems like the right kind of guy at the right time in history.

If Sid dies, i wonder if Johnny inherits his wealth?
And I wonder what his net worth is compared to Silver? Could get Kreese out on bail. But he is probably more concerned with Miguel.
Daniel could probably afford that bond though.

Just wrapped this up tonight. Awesome. The ending was perfect. I didn’t think there was any of the old characters to pull back into the series.
