Took the advice and began this the other night. Good decision.
But also.
WHY the frick couldn’t we have gotten this Anakin and not the simpering, poorly acted little bitch in the films?
It’s makes me irrationally sad how much George fricked up Anakin’s fall with the FFW turn to killing younglings. No wise Jedi Master. Just a creepy, horny, arrested development teenager hot for Padme’s poon at any cost.
And I’m not even even very far into the show.
But also.

Yep. Very much agree.
Only in Season 1, but interesting to see Mandalorian characters in the earlier context.

Clone Wars starts off slow it gets a lot better. Also if you haven't seen it you should watch Rebels. It starts off a little too much of a kid show but gets a lot better too.

I figure I should but I have no idea when I should in continuity with Clone Wars.

Rebels occurs well after the Clone Wars. A few Clone Wars characters are in Rebels too.

Gotcha. Wasn’t sure if this Ezra character was intro’d first in Clone Wars or Rebels.

Finish CW first before starting Rebels. Report back as you're watching...it's interesting to hear a first time watcher because it fills in so much.

Clone Wars makes Episode III so much better. It fleshes out Anakin's fall so much more.
I agree Lucas did no service to Anakin in the prequel movies, but he was very involved in this series so i'm glad he helped remedy his mistake.
The real travesty is that we did have Filoni get the exclusive rights to all the films.

Anakin in live action has to be the most poorly cast character of the last 30 years. Not just once but twice.
