Is he really a ruhtard? I just watched like 3 straight episodes and he seems like he really might a be a little slow. This isn't a knock on handicap people, just an honest question.

I think it is exaggerated how dumb he is but a rocket scientist he ain't.

That was my initial inclination. I know they make them exaggerate some things for the show, but the way he acts in general makes me think he may have been dropped as a child

Not nearly as much as Rick, The Old Man, and Big Hoss.
I bet Chumlee doesn't get a dime from the History Channel Money. He's kind of like Vinnie from American Choppers. The Teutels became millionaires from the show, and Vinnie probably didn't get shite, which is why he quit (not saying Vinnie was vital to the show, but he was a very big part of it).

Nothing is as scripted as Billy the Exterminator. Jesus, the acting is bad. They should hire some of the actors used on Cheaters.

My favorite Chumlee moment is when he went to pick something up from the Old Mans house and they showed him making a sandwich and sitting on the Old Mans couch eating while everyone at work was asking what the frick was taking Chum so long.
