My name is Bond...J (inaudible)... martini glass shatters loudly, scene suddenly becomes black and white...something happens off-screen of great importance...confusion sets in.

I love Nolan but not sure how I feel about this. His style wouldn't be a good fit BUT I'd love for him to write a Bond film.

Skyfall was the best Craig bond film. Yeah, I said it
Not even close. It's a decent movie up until they capture Silva then it quickly goes to shite. Sf doesn't hold a candle to CR.

And please god, no Greengrass or Danny Boyle. I don't want to watch another Bourne-style Quantum of Suckass and that's exactly what those two directors will deliver.

JGL as Bond. Idris Elba as M. MyCocaine as Q. Marion Cotillard as Moneypenny

so will we get a bond with pronouns?
As long as those pronouns are he/his.

I hope and pray this is the case. Would be epic if he directed.

I wouldn’t like a genius like Nolan attached to a failing franchise like this.
His talent is best suited elsewhere.

Would love to see Nolan Bond movies. I do not want Tom Hardy as Bond.

At least we’ll be able to hear that classic Bond theme.

Found two probablems here right away that give a lot of insight into how the franchise is being managed

So will Bond be shifting time and jumping dimensions. Will he be a secret agent and a mystic?

To varying degrees, Bond films were supposed to have a “fun” aspect to go along with the drama and intrigue. I enjoyed the Craig films and thought it was a good departure from some of the later Bonds that had gotten a little too campy or silly.
That said, does Nolan have the ability to do anything “fun” or are we going to get an Uber complex and dark Bond? If so, he needs to just create something new rather than use Bond as his template.

I think either of these 3 are a better fit for Bond.

You’re probably on point.

You gave a decent response up until the point you decided to try the cool lingo with Sf and CR references. It quickly went to shite.

Yes of course. SquatchDawg is the right person to help Christopher Nolan elevate his craft. I’ll pass that along to Chris.

Headlines to follow:
"Nolan exits Bond negotiations due to limits on creative control."
Then:
"Nolan announces plans for new spy trilogy featuring leading character "Jack Brock".
Seriously, Warner Bros. should throw the bank at Nolan and beg him to use one of their DC Spy/Detectives and let him know that they don't care what the hell he does with him, just have the name "Human Target" or "Jason Bard" or "Slam Bradley" in the title.
See: Guy Ritchie's Man from U.N.C.L.E.
