Chris Evans Returning to Marvel As Captain America

Sources add it’s unlikely to be a new Captain America installment and more likely to be like what Robert Downey Jr. did after Iron Man 3, appearing in films like Captain America: Civil War and Spider-Man: Homecoming.

This reeks of upper management finally figuring out Brie Larson cannot carry the franchise.

This seems to me like payback for giving him the Buzz Lightyear franchise.

I don't like this idea. They did a good job ending his story imo and Chris Evans is a collosal loser.

You replace it with good actors....not ones chosen solely because they belong to certain demographics.
Not saying you can't have a minority lead...There are some great actors/actresses already in the MCU..... you just need a TALENTED person of any ethnicity to carry the franchise. Brie is NOT it

Loved him as captain America but dammit studios are just going to take every property that makes money and run it into the ground. Make something original. They had a great ending to his storyline. Let it be.

They already had a built in way to bring him back. What the Hulk did to Ant-man when he aged him then made him young. They put the science of immortality in the MCU. They could take that old man at the end of Endgame and use the same stuff on him to make him young again.

Folks, once a character time travels, they're never dead.
Writers can pull them out of the time stream and claim that, while we know the character went from Time A to Time B, what we didn't know was that they took an additional stop in our "present" time as well. They can stay alive in our present as long as needed, but eventually they'll have to travel to the point of their death.
That's why DC killing off Barry Allen was pointless. He'd spent half his career traveling through time, any one of those Barry Allen's could appear after his death.
And it's what they did with Supergirl. She dies, then the Legion shows up from the future with a Supergirl from her youth, allowing Superman to say goodbye to her one last time.

Of course they need to bring him back to fix the plot holes that were created with his endgame story
