He could have used the wings for all of that.

My issue is that leaning so much into suit tech renders so many things useless.

If you give Hulk a power suit that grants the strength of the Hulk, what does Hulk's strength matter?

Been a problem I have had with the MCU since Homecoming

How would you know? You hardly watch anything they put out anymore. Are those just the opinions given to you by the Youtubers?

Stopped watching after 10 years of watching everything. Funny how the movies I’m missing are the ones that are losing massive amounts of money.

Hmmm.

this is why I don't get why you just don't keep him as Falcon, still flies and now his powers or whatever are connected to those wings...

Not sure why everyone is hung up on him keeping his wings as he fills the Captain America role. The guy's entire advantage has been the power of flight. Why handicap him because he was promoted?

If you are roping me into that, I should note that i have not said I have an issue with his having wings. My point is that the suit makes the shield kind of pointless.

Like giving iron man a revolver.

A symbol because of the other guy that carried it

Sounds like he should remain a falcon

We act like this is the comics where someone must always have the mantle of Cap, but in the MCU he’s really barely been around. He had 1 movie where he was a government agent, then he was frozen for a long time, then was basically rogue after avengers.

Unrelated but kind of… how long on film were The Avengers actually a team? The second half of the first one and half way through Age of ultron basically ?

They disbanded in civil war then got back together, with the exception of iron man, after the snap. Then after Tony died, Thor left, and Steve went back in time, they ceased to exist again.

Strange, Spiderman, and Sam Wilson are still avengers.

Also in this film, vibranium went from being a metal with unique properties and limitations to straight up magic

With this movie's treatment of vibranium, were the Hulk to punch Rodgers' Cap with all his might, his shield would absorb all of it.

Whereas before cap was knocked on his arse after Bucky punched the shield.

Not saying it is good or bad, just a statement for the sticklers

Captain Falcon
Falcon
Strange, maybe
She Hulk, maybe
Ironheart
Girl Hawkeye
Black Widow, maybe
Chick Panther
Bucky, maybe
Thor, probably
Some Skrull probably

Mostly a bunch of sad nobodies, Cap, Thor, Bucky, and Strange.

No clue how they are gonna get people to care about it. But one thing is for sure: if you don't like it, you are a bigot.

Falcon's wings.

Cap doesn't HAVE 'wings'.

That's why it's so stupid for Sam Wilson to have the shield. It serves no purpose!

Cap is a title. Always has been. Steve Rogers chose Sam as the next Cap. It has been that way in every medium of the story. I can put it on YouTube video format if that’s all you understand.

oh, I understand. And no matter what form it's in.. comic book, message board, MCU movie or 5 hour long YouTube video, Sam as Cap.America is just lazy writing.

Take the serum, lose the wings, and BE Captain America. Otherwise, it's just virtue signaling hand me down.

Sam acts like Cap in the movie

The TV show he played Cap as "Cap becomes a lefty activist"

Mackie was a bright spot in a really very bad script

I agree! I like Mackie! That's what makes it so damn frustrating that he's being misused.
