Lot easier to tell investors that your new shows will hypothetically get Wednesday numbers than convince them a second season of a show that’s already not hitting that mark will

It’s a bad system created under a worse larger economic system

That show had some great nudity in addition to being a good show.

The Burroughs was better than 90% of the shite Netflix pushes out. I figure it had more to do with the Duffer Bros moving on to another platform.

Dammit, I started watching this out of sheer boredom and forgot all about it having been cancelled after 1 season. Yeah, THAT'S the show.

I'd have sworn that the house Sam Cooper moves into was the same or on the cul-de-sac as Carol’s from Pluribus. The architecture and landscape are really close. But seems they're not the same. Oh well.

*ETA - the show is awful. Over acting, poorly written story lines, despite a pretty good cast, this show had no clue what it wanted to be.

Burroughs was cancelled due to production costs and showrunners heading to Paramount.

Streaming video is just a different animal. Broadcast is about viewers and ads. Streaming is about subs. A show can be award winning, but if it isn't brining in more subs, it gets dropped.

The cancellation of 1899 was a travesty. I haven't bothered starting a Netflix series since then.
