Downton Abbey.

That's funny. I was watching something on PBS earlier, and left the TV on that channel while I did some bookkeeping. That show came on and I caught two episodes and was intrigued.

Seemed drab at first, but for some reason I'm interested to find out more.

Watch Top Gear, even if you aren't into cars it's still worth watching.

Top Gear is hilarious!

Zach, the story progresses beautifully and the plots multiply and thicken. The acting alone makes this show a winner. The actress from the Harry Potter movies (Mrs McDonagal..something like that...) is great with her comic deliveries and totally captivates whatever scene she's in.

Thank you so much for suggesting Downton Abbey. I started watching season one on PBS after your post and I am looking forward to season 2 starting next week.

Please someone let me know if Sherlock ever airs on BBCA or PBS. I guess I will finally have to subscribe to Netflix.

I really loved seasons 1 and 2 of Skins....so much better than that crap mtv made and called skins. I also get a kick out of the stuff they can do on british tv that would never fly here....and we call the brits uptight.

Or you can do the free month trial and cancel after the month is up.

They are so desperate that they just sent me a new free trial month even though I used a free trial about 5 months ago.

Season 2 has a Christmas special that aired on December 24th, well after the the regular season eps aired. It was very, very well done and a perfect ending. I love this show.

Looking up Misfits...

I found the Sherlock episodes on icefilms.info (links to free download on megaupload). There were only 4 episodes in the first season but they were 90 mins long. Thanks to all those who recommended them, I definitely enjoyed them more than the new movies. There is less action but more investigation and deduction. I'm totally stoked about the next season.

Someone else recommended Downtown Abbey so it's on my watch list. Just wanted to mention an English movie called "The Trip" that is very entertaining. It's a comedy/drama with some great scenes...check it out.

If you like this, look into Garth Marenghi's (SP?) Dark Place. Done by a lot of the same guys. Its like7 episodes of hilariously British tv.

What are you referring to? I googled "most popular TV show in the world" and got House.

Watching Misfits on Hulu. Good show! Thanks for the recommendations from whomever recommended it!

Top Gear, I know it's not a drama series, but it's still good.

Blackadder

One of the funniest shows I have watched. It also has one of the best finale episodes.

Yeah, it's like Heroes (minus the disappointing suck) blended with the sense of humor of Archer. One of my favorite shows on tv atm. Nathan is such a funny arse.
