Yes, same reaction. But I already knew that Season 5 was all she wrote, so I fell prey to the sunk cost fallacy and figured since I already watched the 4 (should be irrelevant) I would watch 5 just so I could see what happened.
But yes, the half-face aftermath of the bombing is the stupidest point of the entire show and made me wonder if Gilligan wasn't just trolling all of us.
