I don't think Walt fakes his death, I think everything comes out about just how horrible he really is, and what you saw from Carol was fear of the monster before her.
Yeah it really put things into perspective when Hank was going through the evidence boxes.
Every picture he pulled out was a person killed by Walt. Every single one, and there were a lot.
How many deaths are we at now?
10 witnesses.
Gus.
Gus's bodyguard.
Mike.
Hector though this was a suicide.
Crazy 8 and the other guy from season 1.
Ran over 2 dealers.
Two people in the lab.
Gale if you count him.
He allows Jane to die.
21-22 people? That's serial killer numbers.
Not to mention how many people have died thanks to Walt's decision to get into the drug trade.
He's also destroyed his family. In fact, I'd like to see the show make mention of how it's affect Walt Jr. Just because he doesn't know what his dad is doing doesn't mean he's not being affected by his parents' fricked up decisions to send them to Hank and Marie's for no reason. His dad having cancer and then his mom kicking him out of the house for seemingly no reason.
Walt Jr.'s probably smoking pot and experimenting with drugs every weekend, and his parents have no idea.

Like I said, anything I come up with wont be correct so maybe Walt does win out. I just don't see it at this point.
It would be a win at a terrible price. I think the win would end up being hollow after Walt sacrifices all of his friends and family for it and the last scene would close out with a picture of his face as he realizes what he has done and that it was not worth it. I have felt this all of last year and have felt the story would end like this for some time. I could be wrong and probably am.

I just don't see them killing the kids
I think Marie will escape with the kids before any harm is done to them
but Skylar and Hank are dead.

You think living alone with Marie isn't considered harm?
Poor Holly is going to grow up to be Catwoman.

When you said everything comes out about Walt, it made me think that Walt Jr. paints Heisenberg on the wall. I don't know why, that's just where my mind went immediately.

Not getting into spoilers, but his neighbor's reaction to seeing him should tell you something.
M wondering if he does something like fake his own death? That would make sense with her reaction.
Man way too much left to go down with only 7 episodes left.

The neighbor's reaction in the flash forward leads me to believe Walt fakes his death.

He's directly (but mostly indirectly) responsible for 247 deaths!
Example: if Walt doesn't let Jesse's GF overdose, the dad isn't grief-stricken and delirious while re-routing plane traffic.

Dude, there is NO way Walt gets off Scott free. He either loses his life, freedom, family, or sanity.
In the end evil doesn't win and I would be disappointed if the ending to the story is Saprano-esque.
Um, what do you think happened in the last episode of The Sopranos?

I think you all are reading too much into this. With the house being fenced and posted, probably by the DEA, there is no doubt something bad happened there and everyone now knows Walt was a Meth cooker. She is probably frightened because there was a murder next door and everything about Walt was on tv.

With his house fenced in, it looks like a DEA matter, so I'm guessing that everything comes out about Walt, from his dealing to murdering Gus, etc.

i have another spin on it:
what if hank has to team up with walt?
now hear me out..what would it take? maria being killed by lydia/her minions? maria being _SLOWLY TORTURED TO DEATH_? walt's family being targeted by lydia and tortured to death as well?
hank and walt have both lost everything so need to form an alliance for revenge?
hank hasn't turned walt in yet...what kind of horrific event would it take to put hank on walt on the same side?
i'm guessing some type of revenge that hank simply is unable to get through the proper authorities...
..and he calls on the devil aka HEISENBERG for help.
ok i'm reaching but it would be fricking awesome to see an angry hank PLUS heisenberg teaming up...

There have been mentions of scarface....Walt even told Walt jr while watching it with him and holly that "everyone dies".....don't be surprised if that comes back....children have died already, maybe Vince is softening us up to it?....I have always thought that Marie would raise holly though, with skylar and Walt dying.
Edit....holly is always wearing pink.....like the teddy bear from the plane crash

I don't see Holly dying. That would be a little too much
