I have tried starting this show at least 10 different times and I just can’t get past the 2nd episode

This past weekend, I said I’m going to try it again

I made it almost through season 2 and wondering if I should try to keep going or is it worth it and a waste of time.

Still a lot of episodes left but I really don’t want to get into ot and lose interest like I did with Ozark because my time is very precious

Is ot worth it? Thanks for any suggestions!

It’s very slow early on, but damn man, if you’re almost two full seasons in and aren’t sure if you like it, it’s probably not for you.

It’s not a troll. Legit question.. so far I like it but in a lot of series they get stupid in the later seasons. That’s basically my question. Is this show one of those series that starts off solid then just gets stupid with different writers, etc

Thanks. That’s all I needed to know. I didn’t mean to offend the down vote police jerkoffs by asking a simple question about a tv show on a tv message board

How can anyone say it I slow early on? Literally so much happens in the first episode alone.

I couldn’t stop watching BB from the first episode to the last. If you don’t find that show entertaining there is something wrong with YOU. Not the show.

The only time in my 19 years of adult life that I have paid for cable was to watch the last half of the final season live . Greatest TV drama of all time.

Many series start with a bang and are great for the first couple of seasons; they then fall off the map and never return to greatness. Billions and House of Cards come to mind.

But Breaking Bad? That was great TV from first episode to the very end.

Finished BCS and I’m now on S3 Ep 11 of BB. It’s fantastic. Stick with it.

That's how you know it's a troll. The first seasons being slow is a common complaint, but only one made by people who have finished it because they're comparing S1 & 2 to S3-5.

When first watching it, though, it's not slow at all.

Honestly, I felt the way you did watching it. I kept watching it all the way through b/c I was convinced it would get better based on everyone raving about it, but it never did for me. I found the whole series ok at best.

Anthony Hopkins, immediately after finishing the series, in a handwritten letter to Vince Gilligan, called it one of the finest contributions to the dramatic arts he'd witnessed, the best television show of all time, compared it to the greatest of Greek Tragedies.

So if that is sort of heavy to you, which is understandable, because it's so challenging, so dark, you wouldn't be alone in not liking it.

If you DO get to the episode in the final season where it's the last time Walt sees his family, how that goes down, and you aren't shaken, God bless ya. shite still haunts me.

It’s not the question it’s the fact you are asking this question about Breaking Bad. You would have to be living under a rock to not know that it goes the distance. It’s one of the highest regarded shows of all time.
