I also like the implication of Walt having cancer again in Dennys. He let out a slight cough and pulled out a bottle of pills...

If he does have cancer again though, he ain't going through chemo

or at least it's not the same kind of cancer, and they are using a different chemo

My guess is benzos for stress or something?

If it was cancer and he just said frick it, "I ain't doing chemo again", then that would be a pretty badass way to go out seeing as how he's buying that gn

I also think that they've made Walt the alpha male way too quickly.

So 4 seasons wasnt long enough for you?

From watching the sneak peek, I think Hank already knows or has some suspicions about Walt.

He might've looked through the laptop already.

He also might've known since before he had the death threat.

It'll be interesting to see what Hank's wife(can't remember her name) does this season. She knows enough to have suspicions too.

Priority No. 1 for Walt: Put a bullet in his wife's head.

Or put it in her butt like he did in the Pilot.

Hank HAS to have some suspicion

He doesn't seem completely fricking retarded and he would have to be if he hasn't at least put a few dots together by now

I don't think Hank has looked through the laptop. Wasn't the bag still sealed in the evidence room?

Quick Question:

What was that white rod/joint looking thing in the ziploc that Saul gave back to Walt?

It seemed like it was another bomb that Walt made for Saul to keep that he used to blow up Gus.

Yes, but I still think he has his suspicions

Maybe not though

I can almost guarantee there will be some sort of "coming to a head" between walt and hank in tis season

Maybe they'll have a resevoir dogs style shoot out between hank, walt, skylar, Walt jr, Jesse and mike

Boom. roll credits

That was the ricin cigarette Walt had given to Jesse to poison Gus, then Walt had Saul lift it off Jesse as part of his plan when he poisoned the kid.

I still think at some point Walt is going to have make a decision between saving his own butt and some memeber of his family.

Y'all aren't getting my point. His ego has always been dormant. That much is evident.

Say you get promoted to a position of authority in a business. Sure, you're gonna feel more powerful and want to assert that power. You won't immediately become a huge a-hole power-monger. That's what they did with Walt. I would've had him making a questionable comment or 2 in this episode, and have his actions become more and more evil over a few episodes. Just a little character building. They just threw too much right off the bat, and for a show that is built so heavily around character development, I just feel like they were kind of lazy in this episode.

The character change in Walt started last season. "I am the one who knocks". Ring a bell?

And don't forget his telling Gus off in the desert when he knew that he wouldn't kill him for fear of pissing off Jesse.

I dunno, I think Walt's ego has been building for a long time, though it's mostly been one step forward, two steps back. This time there were several great reasons for it to take a huge step forward. Over the course of several episodes, he found himself at the brink of complete failure on several fronts, yet he got himself out of all of it. The only thing that rang a little false to me was his ability to intimidate people; I mean, Walt's power is still pretty much limited to his own person. His only henchman is Jesse.

That said, judging by the open, Walt's success isn't gonna last very long. Looks like another rollercoaster.
