Series creator Vince Gilligan had been impressed with Cranston's 1998 guest-starring turn on The X-Files, on which he played a desperate man suffering from radiation exposure, and pushed for the actor. But the suits had trouble envisioning Fox's suburban dad as their star and wanted to cast a big-name movie star. Their picks? John Cusack or Matthew Broderick.

First Ep was great, but I really think Ted should have stayed dead.

As someone said last season when some wondered if he was really dead, someone said something like "this isn't General Hospital" and most concluded he was in fact dead.

And yeah, I thought it was too easy getting the truck outside the evidence room.

On the bright side, I think it was a fake hug on both sides when Walt told Tits he forgave her.

I think Walt is really going to frick Ted up because it has been said they needed a bad guy to replace Half Face --

then they realized they already had one in the cast - Walt.

So my first prediction is he's going to do something really wild to Ted because there ain't no way he believes the guy is not going to talk.
