Bob Iger out at Disney?

Apparently this is five days old? Didn't see it on the board.
CEO Bob Iger on his way out
Iger recently shared in comments that the Disney Parks– including Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort— have been overpriced and that he wants to keep the magic accessible to everyone, but he may never have time to implement any policies to change ticket prices.
In the same Q&A session, Disney CEO Bob Iger shared that he’s on his way out of the company.
There have been rumors that NBA Commissioner Adam Silver is the top candidate to replace Bob Iger currently
Can't say how valid this is. Couldn't find it anywhere else in a google search. Silver would be an even bigger disaster if true.

First thing I thought of when I saw his name floated as a replacement.
Knowing now that he's a former Disney employee makes the "NBA Experience" thing that used to be at Disney Springs make more sense. That thing was shite.

Iger started all of the woke shite, or he at least supports it and let it pass through. All of Disney's failures originated with him.

I predicted that wouldn't make it a year, and was labeled a racist on another message board. I was at DS the day it opened, and nobody gave a frick. Meanwhile, if you want a cookie from Gideon's, you may be in a 2-hour line.
Who the frick would have paid $30-40 to shoot basketballs? They tried to make it free with tickets and even did groupons and whatnot, but nobody gave a frick.
Just open a Dave & Buster's with a Disney twist and call it a day. That place would clean up, and they'd have all the DisneyQuest fans on board, too.

Miss me with the “woke” crybabying.
All I care is that the parks seem less accessible than ever and Epcot has just become a second Magic Kingdom flimsily built on the bones of a once great park. All 4 parks have just become concerned with force feeding IP in places they don’t naturally fit and it screws up the immersive experience of being at Disney.

He’s just talking about how he signed a two-year contract and has about 16 months left so he has a lot to do before he leaves.

Yeah he and Disney have been clear since he came back that it was only temporary until he can right the ship and find a suitable replacement.
