Me and my wife started talking about what kind of concessions and such to break the contract. Took us out of the episode.

Seriously, that took you out of the episode?

It’s a kids show, not everything makes sense. But dude would lose his earnest money and that’s about it.

Just finished watching. This show is a masterpiece. My wife was crying by the end of this episode, and I got some stray dust in my eyes.

Wife and I just watched it while our daughter was napping.

Best episode of the series for me and yeah, I got a little teary eyed at the end. This show has no business being as good as it is.

Also grandpa Bob! Was glad to finally see him

I know the team said they’re taking an extended break. Probably won’t get any new episodes for a few years. But I hope they end up coming back to make more new ones because this episode felt like it could be a finale. Like if they came out and said “we are actually done with the series” this episode is a good send off.

Yeh that tackle at the end did it. My 6yo said she was "almost" crying.

idk if any show captures what’s it’s like being a parent better than Bluey.

the part where all the parents
come in singing the Cat Squad themes song is so spot on.

My Wife and I had been wondering what the deal was with Grandpa Bob.

they never talked about him outside the one episode Bandit talked about the 80s

Similar here. "That was very emotional. My eyes started watering" from my 5yo

It’s a really good show. Being the cynical butthole that this world has made me, I can’t help but believe that the more control Disney gets over the show, the more likely they destroy another great one.

Its been amazing so far. But the moment they add a trans kid I’ll be done. I don’t think we will have to worry about that though because it seems Australia is very hesitant against normalizing trans stuff

Honestly this episode wasn't that great and neither my wife, I or the kids was even close to crying. What exactly made you guys cry?

I think Disney only has distribution rights, so they don’t have any kind of creative or production control. At this point, Bluey is so popular that Ludo Studio could tell Disney to piss off if it came to that.

Yeah only thing Disney has is US is internet and TV airing rights. They don’t have merch here or anything outside the US.

I think it airing on ABC in Australia confuses people, but their ABC has no affiliation with Disney ABC here.

All the changes Disney makes to it is only to satisfy the FCC to keep it G rated.

Just watched it. My 6 year old was about to cry near the end. It hit with me too.

We are planning to start building a house soon. Have a 6 year old daughter and 2 year old son and watching that episode makes you think about the memories you have made in your current home. Then you plan on selling your current home and it feels like you’re moving on from a part of your life.

I’ve been dealing with a sinus infection this weekend so it was easier to say I was holding back tears it was just my nose stopped up. lol

I've watched it 3 times already.

TV perfection.

Can't believe no one has mentioned Chili's sister finally being pregnant. Just one of many moments that got the feels going.

I'm waaay too emotionally invested in this cartoon.

I like that Bluey addresses stuff like that and feelings like that and the. gives us a happy ending.

Did anyone think they were actually going to move? I felt like there’d were way too many secondary characters to abandon

We had seen Bob once before in a contemporary episode. In Grannies, when Bluey is teaching Nana to floss, Bob is trying to learn too. Then we see them both flossing at the reception.

There were a ton of Easter eggs/call backs in this episode.

Bob and Nana flossing
The butterfly Bingo and Lila save in The Slide
Bucky the real estate agent is the one who makes fun of Bandit's drawing in Dragon
Winton's dad's house having a pool is mentioned in Helicopter
The fruit bats at dusk from Fruit Bat
Greenie the balloon tied to the G from Mum School
Stripe getting drunk is a call back to him getting drunk and doing a cannonball in Whale Watching
Winton's dad and the terriers' mom as a couple started in TV Shop

Such a good episode, and as always, knows just how to pull on the heart strings.

I also loved Chilli talking about how she and Frisky would go to the overlook in high school but keeping the real reason (drink, smoke, skip school) a secret.

I guess i didn’t realize that was Bandit’s dad. probably because he looks so different in the 80s and his voice seemed different.

They were also the couple that was actively looking at the for sale house when the sheep dogs looked through the binoculars
