There are a ton of leaks out there regarding this movie but if true, there is a major character coming.

I've read the speculation and feels like a good time to make an introduction (given this movie will be handing off to the next phase)

Nah....Doctor Doom is my guess

If they are doing the Secret Wars story from just a few years ago you have to have Doom in place.

Marvel really needs to nail it with this one. I don't give a shite about their shitty tv shows that could of and probably should of been movies. At least i haven't since loki and wandavision.

Loki and Wandavision were awesome and have been the only really good tv shows thus far.

I didn't realize Namor was a mutant. With the sorta mutant tease at the end of Ms. Marvel and now the introduction of Namor, is this going to lead to anything X-Men related?

He is, though the comics only sometimes play into it. Mostly he's known as "king of Atlantis" and "friend of Captain America since WWII".

I presume between Ms. Marvel, Namor in Wakanda Forever, and alternate-universe Charles Xavier in MoM (not to mention a potential Wolverine cameo in a Deadpool MCU movie), they're definitely building towards introducing them to the MCU.

Can't believe I forgot to include Prof X Also the whole Evan Peters situation in Wandavision.

I've just always been a huge X-Men fan and am really anxious for them to fully dive into it.

ETA: From the looks of the new Deadpool movie, I'm thinking Wolverine is going to be more than just a cameo. I don't think Ryan and Hugh would have done their twitter videos for just a cameo.

The Hawkeye one was cool too i forgot about that. Kate bishop was a nice introduction but most these new characters suck.

I have zero interest in ms marvel and she hulk looks awful idk what the hell their doing with mcu these days. It's a job just trying to keep up.

Falcon and winter soldier was a massive disappointment also.

It is. I learned the hard way that if you skip something (I originally didn't watch Guardians of the Galaxy or Ant-Man) you'll end up lost later. So now I watch everything to make sure I stay up to date.

Hawkeye would be next best to me, after Loki and WandaVision. I tried to like Falcon/Winter Soldier but it fell very flat to me.

I've lost all confidence in the MCU. Hopefully it's good when I see it a few months after it hits Disney+.

She-Hulk was a dreadful snoozefest. Absolutely NOTHING happened.

I don't know anything, but I have to believe with The Marvels, a GotG sequel, Deadpool 3, etc., that the X-Men relaunch will be at the end of the current phase or perhaps the launch of the next one. They may start to build mutant lore sooner and even introduce Xavier as a support.

I mean, they could anchor an entire phase around the X-Men with individual films for character origins.

It'll be interesting what they do for casting when they finally go that route. I'd imagine Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen are probably done given their age.

James McAvoy & Michael Fassbender were awesome and would be the only ones I'd carry over (+ Evan Peters probably).

Nanit looks bad arse

Glad they went that direction and not classical comics. I would only be thinking of Mr. Nimbus.

This. Moon Knight was great but there’s oversaturation with the others. And Thor was just kind of meh. They gotta nail this one and the next couple of ones moving forward.

Agreed. And Florence Pugh is a nice addition as well. But I agree. Most of the new characters suck and the characters they’re placing emphasis on (Banner, Carol Danvers, Shuri, Kamala, She-Hulk) just aren’t charismatic enough to help usher in the new age MCU. It’s leading to some really boring shite. Honestly, I blame Disney more than Feige. He’s probably being forced to make some of these ideas into shows to help make Disney + relevant

Disney Marvel's decision to give a different tone to each Disney+ series seems to have resulted in a segmented audience. It appears that people love one or two of the series, but no one is all-in on the complete catalogue. For every series, including She-Hulk and Ms. Marvel, I know someone who loves it. But I don't know anyone who loves them all.

My only problem is that Shuri was by far the most unlikeable character from the original Black Panther. Yay, let’s make the teenage know it all who is smarter than everyone on earth and is never wrong the new Black Panther.

I think the idea is that she isn't the teenage smartass anymore.

Yeah. That would've been fantastic for Disney Marvel's image. No way they wouldn't look like assholes for recasting Boseman's character, or looking insensitive to the black segment of their audience by pausing all things Wakanda for ten years. Keeping the Wakanda story going while building a sequel celebrating Boseman/T'Challa was their best option by far.

No, only sensitive cucks would see it that way.

The character is too important to Marvel.
Like Dumbledore in the Harry Potter universe, he is essential to the story. Killing TChalla because Boseman is dead betrays the nature of storytelling.

Given the lazy method of multiverse mechanism is comic books, not to mention resurrection, cloning and reincarnation, this is by the far the worst approach.

Moon Knight was solid, and Ms Marvel was good and that one actually set up the plot for a movie unlike a couple other shows
