Trailer looks good. I’ll probably watch this one at home though.

Looks pretty similar to the one in this film.

Besides the hair, and costume and general appearance and being a literal parody of the classic Namor sure.

Looks interesting. Does Namor control the police?

Looks like we're saying the same things.

Gotta add that filler and make it a series. If it was a movie it probably would of flopped hard.

It's not Polynesian, it's Mayan/Aztec. See the trailer in which M'Baku is referring to him as Kulkulkan, the feathered serpent, a famous mesoamerican deity.

Which is also why they also cast a Mexican to play him (speaking with a clear Mexican accent in the trailer) and gave him that damn goatee.

As I said a few months ago, this is not Prince Namor, the Sub-Mariner. It's Senor Namor, the worst woke pandering I've seen the MCU do yet.

Reimagining Atlantis as a Mesoamerican civilization isn't the worst thing they could've done. It looks like they are portraying the Atlanteans as somewhat more primitive than their counterparts in the DC universe. Here they are shown fighting with spears and swords, riding large sea animals instead of mechanical vessels, etc. I kind of like it. I'm still trying to figure out the plot. They say in the trailer that Atlantis is going to attack the surface world. Why? We see that Namor attacks and floods Wakanda. That's straight out of the comic.
