Yes but did they have a rally on the White House lawn? Asking for a friend.

How so? The message, as I saw it, was that Killmonger's Malcolm X style political leanings and tendency to violence ultimately failed and that the isolationist, bury the head in the sand mentality, which may be akin to a Booker T. Washington political scheme, was failing. So, T'Challa opened his borders and offered his aid to the downtrodden in an effort to lift up the oppressed through opportunity rather than violent revolution. Not unlike an MLK type political move.

Ultimately, the film criticizes violent upheaval (read: BLM and their ilk) while also criticizing what may be viewed as those with power to change the fate of black people throughout the world as turning a blind eye.

It's actually a pretty even-handed movie. Not sure where the alt-right and lefty are coming from, but would be interested to know.

i thought it was very even handed. my political bias is extreme conservative with a christian slant towards the real pain that blacks in America have suffered. i don't tolerate BLM's lies, but i also know that today's blacks have serious hurdles to overcome and think it is the Church's (not the government's) responsibility to heal that wound.

i didn't love the movie itself ( it was antman, DS, or Thor 1&2 level,) but the message was overwhelmingly, that violence and confrontation is not the way to obtain racial equality. even though Killmonger's pain was real and justified, T'Challa saw that striking back just causes an eye for an eye mindset. He had obviously grown since Civil War in that.

also that keeping a wall up has kept black people down throughout the world. if you can help, you should.

anybody looking for an overt racial message one way or the other wanted there to be one.

"The Bad Guy in Black Panther Was Right."

I feel like this kind of half serious half troll thinking has become a trend online as of late. I've seen things like "Thanos did nothing wrong" and "Luke and the Rebellion were terrorists" in the last couple of years.

Finally got around to watching Black Panther tonight and was disappointed that it had a anti whitey tone.

How did you come to this conclusion? The bad guy that lost was a black guy that was anti-white.

Isn’t calling it black panther redundant?

no

panthers are cougars (or mountain lions)

black panthers are legend (and do not exist)

jaguars and leopards can be black, however, but they're not panthers

Who is giving this post thumbs up? It is totally wrong!!!

Yep. But it's the eyes up close that really knock you out...and the charm and ease.

watched it recently.

wasn’t terrible, but wasn’t amazing either.
was just another movie that falls into the “ok” category.

i found it to be pro-african, but not really anti anything.
just that that country was more advanced, richer, and better educated than the rest of the world.
