Back to war between Chuck and Bobby.

quote:

Bobby Axelrod reaches a major milestone; Chuck struggles to get his bearings, and he and Wendy navigate a new normal; tensions are high at Axe Cap now that Taylor Mason is back; Axe faces off against new rival Mike Prince.

First episode kind of all over the place. Sides are being chosen. Wags still got it.

Loved hearing Patti Smith in the end sequence.

The liberties they seem to be taking with Wendy and her motivations are going to piss me off. I began watching because I worked in the securities industry and overlooked a great deal; Wendy’s antics are becoming too much to forgive.

Really tired of Wendy’s locker room talk style of leadership

The Taylor character is a mess now

Thank god for Damien Lewis holding all of it together or this show would have fallen apart in a steaming pile of metaphors and awful analogies

Is s4 worth watching? I think I gave up after a few episodes, the Taylor drama wasn't nearly as interesting as the Chuck vs Bobby rivalry.

Skip it or finish it?

This show is officially in the shitter.

That was some of the worst TV I’ve ever seen

That’s disappointing to hear because I was wanting to start this season soon. The Taylor character was this shows downfall. It was always between Bobby and the DA but they forced her into the fold for no reason

Wendy and Taylor have made the show unwatchable
It went off the rails last season and episode 1 sucked

Thinking of bailing.

Agreed. I was a big fan of the show for the first few seasons, but that episode was practically unwatchanble. I was actually embarrassed at times to be watching it.

Thought I was the only one who found the season premiere a complete zero. I got half way thru it and got up and washed the dishes. Every single character sucked. Even Wags. The writing has turned to crap on all levels.

More Chuck v Bobby.
A lot less Taylor BS!

I think we might bail

This show is so rinse and repeat. You could jump in at anytime and the plot is the same

Bobby feels disrespected by his peers
Chuck is trying to get Bobby in some backstabbing scheme
X employee is trying to backstab Axe
Wendy and Chuck fight and Wendy tries to find her worth

Every time a season ends, my wife and I binge some badass recommended shows and then we come back to Billions and it’s like a 7th grader wrote it

I have been a fan of this show but this season feel like its going off the rails, especially this last episode. I laughed out loud at Axe's rant in front of his son's school. Even Wags is starting to aggravate me.

The look on his face when he tells Axe he failed the Chris Rock test.

Chuck's dad being a doting father is going to cause some shite to go down.

I'll withhold judgment on the season until I see it play out, but it has the feel that it's coming apart at the seams early on.

The Chris Rock test was fricking awesome. I haven’t laughed so hard in a long time.

Not bailing even though its been awful this season. I wish they would refocus on "billions" and how they actually scheme to make them instead of the secondary character relationships and story lines. I need to see Axe season 1 back!

Did anyone notice that Chuck Sr's baby is extremely white? I'm no genetics expert, but between being a girl, and having an injun mother, I'd have thought the child would be a bit darker complected.

The show has always been way off the rails. It's just the current trainwreck isn't as entertaining as in previous seasons.

This was never a well-written show.
