In the article you linked it's kind of confusing what he actually considers himself because he says “I’m Afro Latino 100 percent Cuban bud.”

But then he goes on to say

Now I'm not even sure what he meant by "but we’ve never haven’t had a African American win the show." other than it's either at typo or just extremely poor English. But he also said in that same sentence that “I’m the first Latino “Hispanic” to Win Big brother.

So while he has Grandfather(s) that were African American, I believe he identifies as Latino.

But with that said, the Cookout didn't even want to include Hannah at first because she was only half African American (her father is from India). They basically didn't even consider her a full fledged member until almost a month into the game. It was actually kind of little hard to watch for a little while because she was so gung-ho about it, but they didn't really even acknowledge her as part of the Cookout. Heck, I don't even know if Big D ever accepted her as part of it. And there were also comments made about Kyland being too light skinned, although he was always considered part of the Cookout by the majority of the alliance.

He got Kyle out but this also totally ruined both of their games. Brittney had no shot anyway but Michael was likely the front runner but now there is zero chance he wins, so congrats on outlasting Kyle.

Monte or Taylor will win and that isn’t even really a question imo.


Again, I think CBS did an admirable job presenting this both last night and tonight.

It was clear during the house meeting that they were suspect and that Kyle still has the love and support of the POC but his game was ruined and that’s why he’s going home.


Monte told Taylor straight up Michael is going home if they get the chance to take him out.
