A completely innocent woman and her baby being fed to hounds should be shocking, but it's just Ramsey doing Ramsey things. It's comical.

Tough call, they're both sick bastards.

What did Roose tell him last night?
**SPOILER THIS WEEK**
"If you are going to act like a mad dog; people will take you out back and put you down like a mad dog."
I think What Roose told him; may be a little foreshadowing going on there?
You don't rape Sansa Stark without the might of the Northern Banners coming down on you.
Though, I would like Theon to get some greyJoy soon!

Ramsey is more evil but Joffrey had the a-hole teenage brat angle going which made you want to climb into the TV and whip his arse.

Jon taking back Winterfell is as obvious as his resurrection.

Ramsey easily. Joffrey was just a spoiled brat who was too big of a pussy to actually accomplish anything. Ramsey on the other hand is willing to do anything to gain more power. And on top of that is a sadistic frick.
ETA: Joffrey was more obnoxious but Ramsey is a better villain because he is more of a threat
EETTAA: Tywin Lannister is the GOAT Game of Thrones villain

I love Ramsays character. Might be one of the best villains in television IMO.

And now you can add Ramsay

Ramsey is the better, more fleshed out character. He's the guy you love to hate and want to see get what's coming to him, but you'll miss his crazy antics when he's gone.
With Joffrey there was just a seething hatred and you just wanted him to go away forever. His death is one of the most rewarding scenes in the entire series. Maybe being younger and an entitled brat played into that

I despise spoiled children. Jofferey was a spoiled brat made king.
Ramsey is an evil, cunning, sadistic masocist.
Joff liked his BDSM lethal, but Ramsey is on another level of wrong.
Both are great actors, but I have discovered Ramsey on a BBC serial comedy with Ian McKellen called VICIOUS
I will never see him the same way again.
Vicious

I love Ramsey. He's great for the show.

nope. he doesnt exhibit near the depth, nor the intrigue, of the others. Roose was (well, is, since he's still alive in books) 10x more interesting because he's so cold and intelligent, all while internalizing his psychopathy. i (and a lot of others) always thought Roose would end up killing Ramsay
love this theory
I could totally see both of those scenarios playing out in the books. Really hope that the Roose/Ramsay storyline is one of the arcs that Martin mentioned will be totally different. even if ramsay does indeed off his father, it definitely wont play out as poorly and "written for TV" as it was in this episode. a dull splotch on an otherwise brilliant episode.
love this theory
quote:
Remember when Roose was talking with Theon about Ramsay and Fat Walda? He said that she will give him many Boltons, but Ramsay will kill them all. And Roose states that he is ok with this, since child heirs are bane to any House.
He would be completely idiotic to think that child heir is worse than psychopathic heir with lack of any kind of smartness, so he is obviously lying to Theon, since he knows that as Reek he will probably be forced to repeat what he heard.
quote:
What I want: Him getting eaten by his own dogs. What I think is gonna happen: Roose killing him after he makes a mistake that costs the Bolton some of their influence.

Ramsey is a great villain because he can back it up. Jofferey is a great villain because you despise that little shite.
So if it comes down to who you hate more Jofferey wins. If it's which one is more bad arse Ramsey wins.
If I only had time to kill one it would be Jofferey.

Yeah, there's more to a great villain than pure maliciousness or masculinity. 'But Ramsay is a badass and Joffrey is a brat!' Joffrey never had a chance and we see some of the ingredients of his psychology play out early on, but there's more to him than just his sadism. He's confused, conflicted and yeah, he's a coward; however, it still makes him more inherently interesting than Ramsay, whose a completely wooden, one-note character. I just think people think he's cool and would be funner to have a beer with or some shite.

Ramsey is complex. He hasn't really done anything wrong IMO.
Theon was a northern traitor who sacked winterfell. The Greyjoys were warring against the north at that time. Ramsey was only trying to end the conflict.
Ramsey was in love with another woman but did his duty and attempted to bed his arranged wife by order of his father and Lord.
Ramsey saw another foriegn king who uses a witch to kill his own brother and child try to invade and seize his home. Met him head on and outnumbered yet was victorious.
It was Roose who was responsible for the red wedding. Ramsey atoned him of that and united the northern lands separated after Rob went rouge.
Joffrey on the other hand started a war between 5 Kings by betraying his council and by beheading his fathers most loyal friend. Married another woman although he was promised to another, threatens to frick his uncle's wife on their wedding night, abandons the battle field during his Kingdoms siege, gets poisoned by an old hag at his wedding and indirectly gets Oberyn killed because of it.
Summary: Joff is a prick, Ramsey might be Azor Ahai

Joffrey's mentality was due to incest and doesn't have the torture "creativity" Ramsey has.
Joffrey's mentality isn't due to incest. It's due to Robert essentially not giving a shite about him and his mom raising him to be the king. He also had 0 friends so his social skills are entirely lacking. In the end I'd have to say Joffrey was a greater villain because he was so unpredictable. There are so many layers on why he is the way he is and his motivating factors can be on what he feels like a certain day.
