Conagher is my favorite and the most underrated western.

I could watch that movie 1000 times and not get tired of it.

It has it all.

All you youngsters listing Tombstone...I've tried to watch that several times. OMG it is sooooooo bad. It's unlike any other "classic" western. I will say that Powers Boothe's character makes it somewhat tolerable. For me there's too many stars peacocking for screen time.

I like Tombstone, but it's basically a 90s action movie wearing a western mask

All those movies and you don’t list Tombstone? I’m sorry I only had one downvote to give…

Jeez Shorty, a downvote would have sufficed. Pro tip, keep your weird fantasies to yourself.

I'm right there with you. Vilmer and Boothe were the only enjoyable parts of the movie, at least in dialogue. Russell and Elliott could've literally been any other actors and the movie would be the exact same.

I have a soft spot for "The Long Riders".

The casting gimmick (real brothers playing famous brothers) works.

It's not edgy to dislike a 32 year old movie.

I guess I've been edgy for at least 2 months now.

Best Indian Westerns:

Little Big Man
Dances with Wolves
Last of the Mohicans
Geronimo: An American Legen

I would not categorize Last of the Mohicans as a Western. It's more of a leather stocking/ frontier adventure movie... and it's great.
