The Most Toys where Data almost whacks his captor.

They had to reshoot most of this episode when the dwarf originally playing the captor died…

Can we be happy for those two great kids, but still acknowledge that this was a REALLY bad episode overall?

It's a very odd episode canonically. Data doesn't have his emotion chip yet, and everybody is just having random, casual, meaningless sex. But after Tasha dies, Data feels sadness for his one-night stand with her and there's even a callback to the "fully functional" line in Star Trek: First Contact.

Again, it was an entirely meaningless interaction between the two of them.

Wrong thread.

You are looking for the "Worst Episodes in the entire Star Trek Universe" thread.

I honestly think a room of 3rd graders celebrating Captain Picard Day could have written a better episode.

I submit "First Contact" where Riker and Troi went undercover in a planet that was about to develop warp capabilities. Very solid episode.

The one where Dr. Crusher bangs a ghost.

In all seriousness, the ones you listed are probably it.

I also like Chain of Command (Pt 1 and 2)

Is best of both worlds where he lives an entity lifetime on a planet that had died? If so, that was a very good one

That's The Inner Light.

The Best of Both Worlds is the episode where Picard gets assimilated by the Borg. Family is the immediate episode after TBOBW when Picard deals with his PTSD from the Borg (in a not so subtle rape-survivor metaphor).

The one where Riker is asked by that dickwad admiral to help cover up some ship that phasewarped into an asteroid because it had an experimental weapon and Riker was its commander.

Dr. Crusher fricks a space ghost candle. It's worst than masks. It's the worst episode of sci Fi tv history.

The whole storyline of Worf's house being disgraced and later restored by the Klingon High Council. The Locutus episodes were great. I liked the Spock episodes too.

I always liked “The Perfect Mate” with Famke Janssen guest starring as the bride-to-be who can bond with anyone.

Of course, she bonds to Picard, who has trouble being intimate with anyone, and he can’t have her.

It’s cruel irony, which I think is common in life. Even if it isn’t romantically-based, we can all relate. We’ve all taken a loss like that somewhere along the line.

Upvote for a solid episode, but one that constitutes half of a major continuity problem re the physical appearance of the Kriosians and the Trill.
