He's talking about an ER episode called Love's Labor Lost.

Great show and one of the best episodes for sure.

But for ER, I've always been torn on my favorite episode. It was on for so long with so much character turnover, there kind of feels like multiple series within the overall series.


Be Still My Heart was a fantastic episode, when Lucy and Carter deal with the psych patient.

Fathers and Sons was also great television, although it is similar to Pine Barrens of this series as it is totally removed from the hospital setting and the overall series arc. But Ross and Green were so good and the subject matter was so poignant it made for a really great hour of television.

But I think the best, if I had to choose just one, would be Night Shift. This was the final episode for Omar Epps as Dr Gant. Holy shite, what an emotional episode showing the reality of the grind as life in residency, and how stressful it can be for those that feel in over their heads. Also shows how difficult it can be for attendings to figure out how to teach and inspire when the pressure of cleaning up after the mistakes of their students overwhelms them as well.

Would love to tackle a rewatch of ER at some point, especially the early years.

hrm...not much love here for GOT Battle of the Bastards. Only non movie that truly took my breath away with all the action

this scene, along with a scene in the wire after randy's mom dies and he is yelling at Carver as he is walking away in the hospital are the 2 most poignant television scenes ever.
