Yeah casting like this just proves that the people could give a shite about how crappy this movie is as long as she gets butts in the seats.
This Friday Night Lights kid might see his career end with the last flop and this certain disaster. Dude needs new agents. I'm sure he's got a ton of money for these movies but the next stop for him may very well be a reality show at this rate.

Nailed it...I would of liked to have seen an Xmen beginnings movie with him as Gambit....

Its actually a pretty bad arse movie.
Towards the end, it gets corny with the battleship, but all in all, it's a solid popcorn movie

Not only that but Brooklyn Decker as well?
I wish they would have cast Vin Disel so it could have reached Fast and Furious levels of so bad its good type movie

I actually think I will enjoy this one. I don't expect it to be great at all, but I think it'll be good enough (plot wise) and lots of shite will explode. Typical mindless summer blockbuster fare.

Guy from the Picayune gave it 3 stars out of 5.

I think this movie is about to flop...
1) there's already an epic popcorn flick out right now so people are getting their fill there. Just poor planning to release this while still in the avengers wake.
2) most of the general public seems to be pretty confused as to what this movie is even about. "Yes I remember the game battleship, but can't seem to recall aliens being involved" They've done a pretty shite job of marketing this movie and explaining why we're fighting aliens with battleships.

just got back from seeing this, midway I was thinking it was getting bad but it actually got a little better near the end. 3 out of 5 for me.
