I get what the OP is trying to say.

In my opinion, from a pure cinematic standpoint, the Battle of the Bastards is one of the best battles ever to be filmed for television. It's epic in scope and the stakes are very high. However, from a real world tactical stand point, Jon Snow might be the worst battlefield commander in the history of Westeros. The tactics of the battle made no sense and Sansa hiding the fact that she had an entire army waiting in the wings to pounce on Ramsey Bolton was downright treasonous. This is magnified by the fact that her hiding the presence of Littlefinger's army from Jon Snow resulted directly in the death of their youngest brother.

It was ok. Was hoping to see more of the Knights of the Vale instead of just a quick run in from a distance at the end of the battle. I can remember at a fan question and answer once someone asked Fat George who had the best Army man for man in the GOT sphere and he answered "without question Knights of The Vale" and we rarely/barely got to see them which is par for the course considering the shite show it became after the book content ran out in season 5.

No dumbass, I’m upset that they purposefully had the male character do something stupid to set up the female character come in and save the day.

Ah, I see. What about Jon Snow acting out of emotion instead of using keen intellect was out of character?

What’s your take on a woman outsmarting a man to save thousands ball-less men from slavery so they could serve her?

I'm sure he was really angry about that

Other than the messed up shot revealing Jon's rubber sword, I enjoyed the battle.

I’m not sure how he even made it to the Battle of the Bastards.

Actually, it made her look worst. She with held crucial intel and got a lot of people killed because she was butt hurt and wanted to swoop in at the last minute and show not only Jon, but Ramsey she was better than them. She knew she had the army of the Vale but did not tell Jon? Really shitty and pathetic.

I'm surprised you made it past the episode where the girl (girl power!) emerged, unscathed, from a massive funeral pyre nursing 3 baby dragons. Did you just let that one slide because she was naked?

So, the “realism” of flying dragons with people riding them is ok, but a circle of dead bodies isn’t? …… ok

Stuff that happens still has to exist within the reality of the show's universe though. Dragons existed in the show. Bodies magically multiplying and stacking up neatly did not exist within the universe.

Well, not until the DDs fricked everything up.

Did she? She sent a raven to the Vale asking for help, but did she know for certain they were on their way?

For the sake of argument, lets say Little Finger wrote back telling her they were coming at once. You think Jon Snow would have put the battle on hold and trusted Little Finger - a man he despised?

Also for the sake of argument, say the Knights of the Vale show up before the battle. What do you think Ramsey Bolton does in response? He retreats back into the castle and waits them out to die in the cold.

Rickon’s inability to zig or zag was inexcusable.

Considering that she showed up with them, I’d say yes.

I mean, I don’t disagree here. But the show runners made her out to be the hero.

Showed up with them? They never showed her leaving that area. She sent a raven to them asking for help and she was there right before the battle began so she obviously didn't go to the Vale.
