I had been feeling the comedy element of the show more than the actual plot up to this point, but this episode definitely changed that.
Obviously the murder in the car was *the* moment. Hader was amazing. When he started yelling 'Why did you have to say that?' It was like "and here it comes".
The flashes to imagining the guys wife getting the news were perfect, and showed how even someone like Barry feels the cost of collateral damage.
Goran and Cristobal..funny arse convo. The Four Agreements hahaha.
I loved how before the play started it was hands in, and "One! Two! Three! COUSINEAU!"
Sally gets what she wants, and now she's nice to everyone. frick her.

Episode 7 was one of the best episodes of TV in a while.

The thing is - that passive character (like his characters in Night Shift and Water Boy) is far more like the real Henry Winkler than Fonzie is - Fonzie was real acting on Winkler's part.

I am super impressed with Bill Hader. You could see in the car scene his character coming to the realization he has to kill Chris.

He said I’m the post show clips that that’s kind of how it happened when he was writing it. Him and the writer were going through the plot and both came to the same realization of “oh shite he’s gotta kill Chris”

Caught the first episode in my hotel back when it aired but hadn't watched since then. Finally binged last night to catch up and holy shite! This show just gets better and darker each episode. Can't wait for the finale tomorrow.
The Chechens are fricking hilarious and Bill Hader has some great range. I wonder if killing Chris is Hader's turn from what was a good guy who was just being manipulated to an actual bad guy.

Hader said in the post show brought up that Barry in the previous episode refused to kill someone he disliked because that person was a marine, which inevitably lead to him having to kill Chris who he actually likes and leads the life as a person and as a marine that he wants so bad to have
In a way he killed any chance of having that life by killing Chris instead of killing the other marine. He can’t get out

One of the best first seasons I've seen in a long time. No clue where it's going to go from here but the final two episodes were fricking fantastic.

Same here. I almost didn’t pay as much attention as I should have because I kept waiting for him to wake up alone in a hotel room.
