It is amazing. Right from the go it surprises you with him going in reverse when Jon points forward.

One of the better action movies in the past 5 years without a doubt. Movie is absolutely incredible.

My favorite part is the last heist and Baby drives into the back of the truck and Jamie Foxx gets stabbed by the rebar.

Matter of taste of course, but To Live and Die in LA is my favorite. It's three times as long and they make it feel dangerous and organic. Baby Driver is very cool and fun, but feels like stylized choreography.

I love Edgar wright movies. The third act of this one is a little clunky, but I love the way he plays with music in his filming.

Lily James is a smoke show too.

I personally think the opening scene of Drive is better, but that’s in part because of how incredible the lighting and the sound is.

But Baby Driver’s is wilder for sure and so well done.

The only thing that detracts from this scene is my knowledge of the geography of Downtown Atlanta. The disconnects caused by recognizing landmarks out of place due to editing takes me out of the moment, every time.

I get the same feeling for movies in New Orleans. Its like they are on bourbon st, they take a left on canal st and they are in a swamp. Didn't cross any bridges or go through residential neighbor hoods, louisiana consists of the french quarter and swamps.

so baby does some wild tire screeching turn where he has to pull the handbrake to make the turn because he was going so fast. Then the 5 trailing cops going the same speed just take a casual right and they are right turn and are back on his tail

I honestly don't really remember it. I just remember what a ripoff of Drive the movie was and how shitty Atlanta is for a place to shoot movies. A city with no character.

Ronin, Terminator 2, French Connection, Road Warrior, and Bullitt. I still remember all of those.

I watched this movie at a time in my life where I was really into the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, so this scene in particular was the shite

How I feel about the use of the Subie. Half of the drifting stuff he does is physically impossible in an AWD WRX. The vehicle they used to shoot this was modified to be RWD, which is why you have all the drifting and handbrake stuff.

Should've just used a GLI if they wanted it to look like this.
