If you watch closely, the same folks give the Marvel flicks, outside of Black Panther, negative reviews every single time like clockwork

I’m going in with the realization it’s not going to have a neatly wrapped up ending

Social justice warrior? Umm. I just watched the movie and do not recall any kind of societal messages in it. At least nothing overt.

Are you one of those people that looks for something to be offended about maybe?

Yeah the Russo’s and Feige obviously lied when they said it won’t feel like part 1 and part 2 and there won’t be a cliffhanger

I’m fine with this. It’s the grand finale, so make it 5 fricking hours. That’s what I want out of this.

I don’t want to turn this into a TLJ thread, but come on. Did you miss Canto Blight and the purple haired gender studies professor?

Currently at 89%.

Have a feeling it's gonna level out in the mid 80s

I just fricking said none of that bothered me, but you’re dense if you didn’t pick up on some of it. That whole casino subplot was dripping with it.

Avengers: Infinity Warably juggles a dizzying array of MCU heroes in the fight against their gravest threat yet --- and ends with a cliffhanger expertly designed to keep fans coming back for more.

It's too much. Too many characters, too much action, too much everything. It's a superhero surplus with too many heroes and not enough screen. It's Infinity overload.

The Avengers the Infinity War! I really have to watch what I say here, so as to not spoil the many surprises this film holds (even for me). So let me stick with generalities, with a few specifics tossed in at the end, concerning Josh Brolin. Visually spectacular, as are all the Marvel movies. But this film hits emotional depths few of the others have even come close to, yet humor takes center stage at all the rights moments. There are a couple times my chest constricted from what I was seeing, making me want to cry. You’ll recognize those instances when you watch the film. Brolin is an incredible Thanos, moving and emoting just as I tried to portray him in the comics. The movie’s two and a half running time shoots past nearly unnoticed. The thing is though, I feel I’m going to have to view the film a number of more times before I get a solid grip on just how good it is. Still at that rather stunned point. Yes, I know my opinion should be considered a bit biased, because of my connection to the production but the Russos, Markus, McFeely and everyone else involved in this film get my heartfelt thanks for bringping everyone’s favorite Titan to life in the best way possible, in a jaw-droppingly awesome fashion. Ten out of ten thumbs up. BTW: a special thanks to Ryan Potter for all his help at the after party.
