Avengers Endgame runtime revealed by AMC

Spoilers maybe for those who don’t want to know how long it is I guess?
LINK
It’s 3 hours and 2 minutes right now. Obviously runtimes can change. Apparently Captain Marvel showed a longer runtime like this and ended up being a few minutes shorter. But it’s safe to say, even if this gets cut by a few minutes, that Endgame is going to be, start to finish, at least 2 hours and 50 minutes.

Not a huge deal, imo, if it's a good 3 hour movie.
The 3 Lord of the Rings movies were long, but awesome.
The ridiculously long Transformers movies were terrible movies, so them being 3 hours was a problem.
It's not the length of a movie, but where it takes you during that length. If it takes 3 hours to tell the story right, then by all means, tell the story right!

I'd watch and thoroughly enjoy even if it were 5 hours

Cool with me as they are tying up an unprecedented 22 film arc. Infinity War was like 2 hours 40 minutes and flew right by. It’s not an issue if the film is good quality and engaging which I have no doubts Endgame will be

Infinity War’s credits were 9-10 minutes so it’s safe to say it’s 2 hours and 52 minutes of actual movie. A little disappointed it’s not exactly 3 hours but I’m in for whatever is the best movie possible

Yeah, but taking in account the 30 minutes worth of previews and Coke commercials, and you're back to over 3 hours.
Speaking of credits, I wonder what the after credits scene will be...

One of the main reasons why I love early screenings/fan events is the amount of previews. Two trailers and then the movie. I had tickets for the 4 pm showing of Shazam Saturday and the opening credits hit at 4:07. Saw the Captain Marvel fan event at 6 and it started at 6:09.

They're showing Tony Stark's return flight to earth in real time

I think it’s seriously going to ruffle some feathers, but I can see them not doing any post credits scene other than maybe a clip of Stan Lee or an extended Schwarma scene or something.
I think they want full closure after this one. No hints going forward, which would build hype while not undermining the ending of this saga

Good guess that makes sense.
I'm guessing they will just point to the upcoming Spiderman movie that comes out a couple months later.

Too short, make it 3 1/2 hours

They are going to have to put this on 2 VHS tapes when it hits stores

I'm trying to figure out what my max limit would be. I honestly don't know that I'd have one.
