Three or 4 high school age boys were sitting behind us and during the iron Man scene flat out started bawling.
I'm talking a good 5 minutes of solid tears, blowing noses and open sobbing.
Good God. These are the people who will be running our country one day.

There was a girl in front of us who was uncontrollably sobbing for the last like 20 minutes of the movie. It got to the point where we all just kind of started laughing.
The people who actively cheer and yell out shite during a movie also need to GTFO. I can nerd out with the best of them, but having people stand up and clap when Cap grabbed Mjolnir or when Black Panther came out took me out of the movie.

One of the reasons why I'll wait a couple weeks before I see it.

Why do you always do this shite? Put your thoughts in a new thread that didn’t need it simply for the attention.

Cap and the hammer, I’ll give some leeway on that one.

If you go see a popular movie at peak time, this is what you get.

I'm almost always completely silent in movies, but even I let out a loud YES! when that happened.

When Cap was laying on the ground, this black dude next to me says out loud "now that's America's arse." Then two seconds later the movie goes "now that's America's arse." I hate movie talkers, but I cracked up laughing at that.

Agreed. The applause and commentary after every scene was pathetic.
That's why you don't go on opening night for these super tentpole movies.
It was the same thing YEARS ago when they did the Star Wars prequels and the LOTR movies.
I still get disgusted and angry when I think about it. The last time I did anything close was The Force Awakens because people wanted to see it that weekend. That was close enough to make me never want to do opening night or weekend again.

It's cringe overload when people do that in a theater.

you mean people with a fricking soul? if a part of you didnt cheer when that happened, check your fricking pulse.

I couldn't hear shtt for the first 30mins.
Damn film needed captions.
I cheered once, only when Wanda was beating down Thanos.
But I'm also a huge Housse of M fan.. so was maybe the only one in the theater.

Thankfully I just saw an 8am Dolby Cinema showing that was mostly empty.

frick all of you haters who can’t handle people enjoying things differently than you. You’re worse than the hipsters who roll their eyes at pop culture.

If you didn’t get emotional about iron man dying, or pumped up when Cap picked up the hammer, you simply don’t care that much about these movies and characters. Simple as that.
