It doesn't freak me out, but I still love it as a movie. Can definitely see why it would though.

What was the movie around the same time that was about the killer bees... Where the guy fell in to the infested house and some how magically was found in a full bath tub breathing from a straw? At the time i thought that was genius, but now im thinking, how did he run the bath that quick?

I haven't seen that movie. But I saw 8 legged freaks once as a child and I had nightmares for a solid 2 weeks straight.

Haven't watched it again to this day.

It never freaked me out, but I had the comic book adaptation before I actually saw the movie, so I was already kind of prepared for what would happen.

Still a fun watch for me though. John Goodman's character made me want to be an exterminator when I grew up for about a week.

You watched it on tv last night, didn’t you? I watched it last night and it really holds up as a good movie and yes it still freaks me out. I actually searched for a thread while watching and found one 11 years old but it wouldn’t let me reply to it

Love this movie. For someone absolutely terrified of spiders, I actually saw this in theaters when I was a kid.

was wondering how long before you posted in this thread. would have thought this would be a movie you skipped.

Not only did I not skip it, I saw it in theaters. And IIRC we sat at or near the front. I was freaking out.

I laughed my arse off though. Oddly enough, watching spiders on TV or in movies doesn't bother me near as much as seeing them IRL.

Anyone remember the rumor that they released spiders during the release of this? Had my feet up the whole time. PR stunt but got my young arse
