Anyone interested in a sequel to "Sideways"?

The author wrote two sequels to the adventures of Miles and Jack.
I just got finished with the first one, "Vertical". It finds Miles a huge success and Jack on the skids. They embark on a journey with Miles' mom and caretaker. Along the way, lots of shenanigans and lots and lots of drinking ensue. Miles comes to figure out a few things along the way.
I thought it was a pretty good listen, and done right, would make a worthy sequel (as long as Paul Giamatti and Thomas Haden Church reprise their roles). It needs a little tightening up from a good screenwriter, but I think it would at least break even.
What say the sages of M/TV board? Are we clamoring to find out what happened to Miles? Victoria? Mya? Jack? Christine? Stephanie?

Did not know the book had sequels, so with that said...
Would watch.
If we were talking sequels out of nowhere, No.

I love sideways, so yes, I’d welcome a sequel

Great movie. If a book has already been written, then hell yeah I’d watch it.

In the sequel, he develops a love for fricking merlot.

I believe Miles actually loved Merlot.
In fact, his prized wine is a blend of Merlot.
I think he freaks out about Merlot at the restaurant because he and his wife loved and drank it together....
Sideways is one of my all time favorites and I would watch anything that explores the lives of those characters

Weird you bring this up today, the old lady and I watched Sideways last night. Such a great movie. It was released at the perfect time, the true height of housewife merlot drinkers.
We were talking about a reboot, but rather than reprising these characters another movie in the same vein but done with craft beer as the backdrop.
Didn't know these were books, off to audible.
