Lololololol at thinking saying shite like this ever helps your marketing.

Even without this, I think the movie will bomb. Looks fricking lame.

Yet another reminder, that actors really aren’t that bright when they aren’t reading somebody else’s words.

100% he would want another take at this. Because he certainly should know the origins of Captain America at least from the MCU and how 1940s Steve Rogers would view the world.

There are so many different ways he could’ve presented the ideas, like how goodness and honesty transcend 1940s values which can still apply to current today.

Sounds like he just admitted that he’s not Captain America.

His answer is coming from his 2024 woke worldview, not from the character’s. He didn’t include America because he thinks America is racist

Captain America represents a lot of different things & I don’t think the term ‘America’ should be one of those representations.
It’s actually Captain Amerigo, as in Vespucci.

Cap’ represents the Italian spirit of exploration.

I met him at a bar in Atlanta, and he was very much a huge d bag

If you think America is a racist country, then go travel to Asia sometime and get back to me. Everywhere they are openly racist to anyone who is an outsider.

Mackie said this in Italy. Let him go to one Italian league soccer match and he will change his tune.

Actually, he could not be more wrong. But please, explain to the class in what ways you believe current day America is. “racist”.

By the way, China , says “ni haû”.

it’s weird how people who have spend 4 years crying about the government and cheering for its demise get upset when people don’t like the US government.

Because America had slavery like every other country at that time, and even though we were one of the earlier countries to outlaw slavery we should have somehow known better than all of the other countries, some of which still have slavery to this very day. There’s no helping these people.

Not liking the government isn’t the same as liking the ideals that America is supposed to represent. Which is funny because that’s kind of the fricking point of Captain America.
