Watched the first episode of Sailor Moon. Almost nothing was different from the original first episode except for a few small things.

It doesn't look too bad, I'm just not completely sold on the updated appearances. But I guess that what they do when a series gets a redo.

Knights of Sidonia is now on Netflix.

No Spoilers!

What can you tell me about this series? Does it belong rate up their with other great anime series?

I've watched the fist couple of episodes of KOS. It seems very promising. Great visuals.

I have about 4 episodes of Gurren Lagann left. Anyone who enjoyed Kill La Kill should check it out. I checked the OP and noticed it wasn't on the recommendations list.
For those who haven't seen it, it's a mech series that takes place in the very distant future. Humans are forced to live underground until 2 humans find a mech and decide to fight back.
I've literally had a smile on my face while watching each episode.

I know people have been asking me to do it, but I will get around to updating the OP list sometime in the next couple weeks.

I have a life defining test next Wednesday that I need to take care of first.

With that out the way, I do have some updates.

Deadman Wonderland
- Awesome show, but part if the "we won't put out another season do go buy the novels" problem that is plaguing anime. It is something that I hope No Game No Life doesn't do. I looked up the story after watching the series, and it could've made a really good multi-season show.

I recommend it, but go in knowing that they don't deliver.

Psycho-Pass
- Bought the first season the other week and watched 13 of them over many days when I was taking a break. AWESOME SHOW. I keep asking myself if I would even have a chance in that society or if I would be a latent criminal instantly.

Highly recommend it. Watch it. You'll thank me. And they are coming out with a 2nd season.

Appleseed Alpha
- I really liked the Appleseed movies. I haven't seen the series though. This movie was pretty good. The art is obviously updated compared to the style of the old movies, but it maintains the same air despite the much prettier scenery.

The story was a little lacking and the ending was kinda dull, but overall, I'd recommend it as a rental, although I do expect to rematch it.

I'd rate it a 6.5/10.

Also, Akame ga Kill! is awesome.

I don't know if this has been mentioned but I watched the first season of Attack on Titan and really enjoyed it. Can't wait for season 2.

ufotable announced both an Unlimited Blade Works 2-cour anime and a Heaven's Feel movie (rumors floating around that it could be multiple like Kara no Kyoukai)

Yes. It's slows down a great deal once the farm/slavery arc starts.

I haven't, but apparently they announced an anime for it along with Prison School, which is one of the most hilarious manga I've ever read.

Finally had the time to finish Psycho-Pass. What a series. Great ending. Akane's transformation throughout the show was extremely well done.

Also, Psycho-Pass Season 2 is releasing in October and a Psycho-Pass movie is coming this winter. They also plan on re-editing and releasing the first season as 11 one hour episodes.

Much to look forward to.
